Frontier Defense on Black Water Canal (Master) - 9k Northstar - Titanfall 2

@@ZezkuGC You seem to know where enemies spawn on each wave. I have noticed a pattern in each map, but does it ever change or randomize? And on Black water canal, the last enemy is always a Northstar. Is there a possibility of it being some other titan? If so, does it apply to each map?

Black Water Canal's and Kodai's spawn areas for enemies are basically set there is no random pattern; you won't see the random pattern till you play on Angel City or Rise for example. Getting to the spawn areas and removing the enemies that spawn in and move somewhere else is how Wave 1 is, it's all movement and the higher maps on Wave 1 will show that Angel City's Wave 1 is complete random on where the Mortar Spectre's spawn Rise (Master and Insane only) Wave 1 has 5 Nuke Titans: 1 that always spawn at the beginning, after that titan has been destroyed Nuke Titan 2, 3, and 4 are complete random, Nuke Titan 5 is the last enemy on the wave with the last reaper.

@@ZezkuGC I assume regular difficulty has less randomized enemy spawns than master and insane?

Regular has less enemies in waves and Titans on Hard and below (excluding Nuke Titans) have no Shields and 1 less health bar to begin with, take notice on killing a Mortar Titan that has 2 Health bars on Regular and noticing it on Easy with 1 Health bard on the Mortar Titan as an example. The random spawn on where enemies come in, watch the map ping of orange circles, since there is a limit to where enemies spawn and when the next spawn will trigger when all enemies from that first spawn is dealt with. You get more enemies to deal with on Hard and Master (Insane has same amount of enemies in Master, but with a handicap to your hud and its difficulty). Insane brutal difficulty factors in on what Master throws at you, though with a handicap that is not in your favor, No Minimap at all throughout the entire 5 waves, A.I. is ramped up to be alot more aggressive to you (from what it feels like), enemy Titan icons are removed, and No retries (One and Done); a death on Insane is where you get punished later on after wave 1 and you have to memorize on where enemies spawn and deal with it effectively.

I have seen scorches up there, but it really depends on the actual player that plays Scorch, sometimes being below the bridge can shield you from fire in the canal; and the scorch can rotate to the rear of the harvester for the back path. But as i said, it all depends on the player piloting the titan

Its been a few years since I have done the FD on Titanfall 2; I really don't remember the last time I attempted a solo run, it's all blurred and I would have to disable the Northstar Client mod just to have a go

I played Tone the most, because I love the 40mm, but Northstar and Ion are my other go to Titans when it came to multiplayer
