@@rainbowsixODST Some times it is just better this way. Cod used to have a soul (say whatever you want about it but games like mw2 or black ops 1 with such a good story telling would never be again). The same goes to this game the sequels could've been pointless money grabbers.

MrSpamaccount at least it was. Not like in Frontlines, where they just gave you a bunch of buldings and no Red Square or walls.

OverLorD768 sightseeing tour is not neccessary actually. Most accurate Kremlin exists in Tom Clancy series. Any game (exception some browser crap called endwar online).

For the US yes. I know little of why other than either the flooding of the market or maybe some new sources found/exploited. Course, these won't last long. This game came out when oil was increasing so high in price it broke the 4 dollar mark and helped to devastate the economy. While now its cheap, thats due to a number of factors that can change over night. Oil won't last for long, nor will it be so cheap, and the fact were not focusing more than ever on alternate fuels shows this future isn't quite avoided yet.

@@stalin3583 Where am I wrong? Oil isn't long lasting nor is it going to last within the century if not the next few decades. Oil is universally accepted even its most staunch defenders as being limited. While now were looking at a huge price drop, don't forget those prices can go up the moment oil production decreases. Demand has only increased and oil will inevitably run out. There is no denying this fact. Renewable and new sources of energy will become a must. Fossil Fuels will peak and run out, and relying on them as long as we have has been more to do with its easiness of being here for so long and being costly to change over(As well as politicians in the pockets of said corporations) than it being a eternal or long lasting fuel source.

insanely late, but yes, military power is typically gauged in how big a given countries budget is. The US doesn't have the biggest military in the world, but they do have the largest budget out of any other country and is therefore regarded as the most powerful. If they have that type of money, then they have the money for oil. Had to find videos of this game's story bc it's reflecting reality a little to closely
