Owen, so the sun and planet gears reduce the speed of the face cam that drives the pressure piston pump. Plastic bits designed to just last for a while, cheers

It is a similar mechanism to that found in a sturmey archer 3 speed hub. Just planets apart in terms of durability! But the world keeps turning

Sometimes frost like this one. Sometimes the motor burns out. Very easy to make 1 out of 2. But they are cheap crap, very plasticky and parts are relatively expensive but easy to get.
