Very helpful video, thank you! I really appreciate that the frostgrave minis have useful female minis, i dont care for the monotonous hypersexual style that many mini companies (and 3d-print mini designers) go for. These look incredibly useful for kitbashing aswell!
Now I found that the first set of male Cultists seemed a bit on the small side compared to the other Frostgrave kits I had.. and when I tried conversions using Stargrave stuff and other plastics I had, some of it just seemed oddly sized... Do these ladies seem more in scale with the first set, or did they bump them up a bit to match more the rest of the sets?
They are slightly on the thinner side and have more realistic proportions. They also kitbash fine with the cultist set 1 as all the cloth kinda meshes the proportions together. The soldier/cultist 1 kits were the oldest though so they suffered worst from the squat proportions. Annoyingly it seems the stargrave kits used those same proportions so they come out chunkier
Look good. I don't think you mentioned these are female. You said "guys" and "12-man" unit - but I believe the #2 sets from North Star are always the Female versions of the first all-male set.
@@thecavyforge7307 Exactly. One issue with male cultists was that their hands had those very medieval style gloves, sleeves and some robes are also a bit ornate. But the ladies are more focused on rags and bandages and fit post-apo even better! Plus, it would be a sin not to use that hand with giant meat cleaver ;)
The cotton glove serves as a cloth to get the right amount of paint, but most importantly it's breathable. Nitrile gets very sweaty, especially in the recent weather
