smash isn't a balanced game. The fact kazuya exist in the game makes the entire idea of it being a competitive game a complete joke. That's why no one except hardcore smashers take this silly unbalanced platform fighting game serious. Also the only reason why any of you even like this game is not cause of the fighting mechanics its because of the nintendo characters. You're emotional attachment to the nintendo characters helps you over see what a joke this game is on a competitive fighting game level. Like seriously DI is the dumbest most unintuitive mechanic in a game and they don't even explain it to you. The practice mode is so bad that smashers had to mod the game just to make it actually useful for competitive practicing. Seriously choose a Real fighting game.

​@@farewell418being a better character doesn't necessarily mean that the character is less forgiving. I'm never gonna say that Kazuya players are carried, but he does offer more forgiveness than some characters. One example is Peach, despite her being theoretically betterm

Being heavy is a huge, HUGE advantage in ultimate due to the fact that optimal punishes are being perfected more and more, trust me I'm a globally ranked Kazuya and in my experience most if not all characters now can kill you in 1 or 2 good interactions, not just Kazuya. But yeah his weight is forgiving sometimes.
