I hadn’t fished the sea since I was quite young. Then we moved recently moved to Somerset Minehead area. My 10 year old son wanted to try. I brought a rod and reel and some nice looking lures. Taught him to cast. We took turns. Needles to say we didn’t catch anything. Later we were told that lures don’t work in this part of the Bristol channel due to the murky water. Will try with some bait next time. At least he got quite a few casts in as it was a lure! I sometimes try to imagine just how rich the sea was with life before industrial trawl fishing came about? Enjoyed the video!
Nice one once again for the footage pete , spot on. Well done in the end. They do look a great bunch of angler's to fish with . All the best from GRIMSBY
Well done Pete, always tough frozen bait against fresh, As for the hooks, I keep getting told, if you don't try new things you don't learn!! Keep up the good work!!
That’s why you play all 90 minutes, it’s not over till the mother in law sings, well done Pete, as the great Gary Player says the more i practice, the luckier i get 🎣👍🏼🍻
