Yeah I really wish they would’ve had an option with hole in a wall restaurants or taco trucks. That’s where the good Mexican food comes from. Plus they’d be supporting local/small businesses 🤷🏼♀️
It’s not a taste test, it’s a taste competition. Obviously the food is gonna be better at the restaurant. But the question is which tastes better even after being delivered?
Next time you guys do this you should do a "home cooking" section where Josh and the Mythical Kitchen cook it and see if tall prefer a home meal over restaurant food
But that one would always win and that defrauds the point of the game. The restaurant stuff is reheated so of course the fresh one will always taste better.

I think you guys should do “will it taste good?” where Josh and the team use weird ingredients and try to make super tasty things... basically food fears on a bigger scale

As someone who lives in CA, I wouldn’t go to any of these places for Mexican food ever. There are lots of amazing spots. I usually cycle between three favorites, El taqueria Sabrasitos, Taco Raul, and Maria’s grill. All small businesses. All authentic and family owned. That’s the way to go.
I don’t believe it’s been done already but the show should do a Frozen vs fast vs fancy taste test and include an option from the Good Mythical Kitchen to see if Josh can beat the Fancy restaurant.
