I notice that for longan jelly recipe, you'll use 6g agar agar powder + 12g jelly powder. But this recipe, you used 6g each for agar agar and jelly powder. May I know what will be the difference in their final product? (texture)
Hi it’s mainly texture difference. For the longan jelly, somehow the jelly taste better with more firm springy texture so I put higher powder to liquid ratio.
I prepared it yesterday. But when I used 10 gr agaragar, it turned into a kind of soup. Later I added stark powder ( 1.5 tbls) in order to thicken it but nothing is changed.. briefly, we can drink it as a refreshener☹️
