the reason why reinforced elytra so good is you require much skill to get that you have to earn that, being lucky alone isn't enough also no one but Feinberg goes to end
I don't know what this comment is in response to but I'm assuming this is about the elytra in Hoplite Live and not regular games? You do have to be lucky enough to get early pearls to immediately go to the end. I agree that skill does take part in acquiring it, but it shouldn't immediately be a winning factor that other players can't even counter against since it was just that OP with players who knows what they're doing, undergeared or not. That and coupled with the fact that if you go to the End, you're just able to farm pearls and levels, like it's way too good. Even Feinberg agrees that the elytra is just very OP, not even as an item for damage against other but just for general spacing, immediately causing chaos (with the explosions), and running away (with fireworks). Even though they've 'nerfed' it as of recent, it's still arguably one of the most OP items in Hoplite with the correct player using it, even in normal games. I apologize for the yapping but that's just my opinion, but I can see ur viewpoint :)
@@lukasdeen6226 imo, I guarantee if people got the opportunity to contest The End (e.g. Get early pearls, etc.) they would have done so. Although, I don't think people were complaining about Feinberg himself getting the elytra, it's moreso the elytra itself being an OP item you couldn't win against even if you were geared and had heals, and in general is not fun to play against (which I can guarantee that even Fein would agree on this). For example, Tryhard in this stream said he and his teammate got Fein very low, but just couldn't get the kill, because of the fireworks that he had, and the explosions he kept utilizing, so it was just wraps from there.
this video is funny as a one time thing but once the sweaty people start playing like this with the mace and elytra there's really no counter for it other than to hide in a building at all times lol granted, pulling this off does take a decent amount of skill to mace people but the skill ceiling isnt that high or anything. hoping it gets nerfed because getting one shot just isn't fun, it's bad game design plain and simple. hitting these clips isn't the same skill level as somebody hitting headshots to oneshot in an FPS game imo with the mace on top of elytra, it's honestly just insane. luckily though, this is just me talking about flower power. it's probably a lot better in regular hoplite
People can still mace + elytra in regular Hoplite, it's just so much harder to get fortunately. But yeah, they have to nerf the mace a bit (even though, it's apparently already nerfed in Hoplite but it still one shots so lol)
