Kyo really changed so much! Looking back to the first season, he has healed so much now and is such a loving and doting partner. The true beauty of his soul is shining as his love meets Tohru's exactly where hers meets his... It's a perfect exchange. Damn I could write an essay, this is so touching.

I like seeing how Tohru's so excited the moment she sees him. I was a bit disappointed we couldn't see that moment where she runs to Kyo in the manga, but this is just as satisfying to see. 😁

Since they have their first kid at 19 I have a strong feeling when he got softer and said she was working hard too and said “tohru your….” He was implying she’s working hard growing their child, she’s pregnant being implied. Also the lady who gave her food as well I believe implied it 😍😭 plus the ring 😍 I love them! 🐱🧡🍙

The fact that this is a coastal town is very significant. Kyo and Tohru very briefly appeared with their son in manga Hoshi wa Utau. It's another love story where the main FMC lived next to the sea, so it's this same town.

Times flew so fast look at them now.I love them so much fruit basket will always have a special place in my heart. I remember the first time i read the manga, i was 11 and now 25 and I'm still loving all of them as if it's the first day. This movie (i hope i can watch it at the cinema) will be the "end" of a long long childhood memory but also a new hello.
I really wish that there were more tohru and kyo moments like in the manga. But i doubt they will make another fruits basket movie.. I also wish they showed What Yuki and machi did after graduation. But still It makes me Sad seeing one of my fav animes end😭💕i guess.. All good things come to an end eventually ;(

Fruits Basket - the original manga before the first anime came out - was a beloved thing amongst my friends in elementary school in Korea where I grew up. I still remember the moment my friend recommended it to me to read. That was twenty years ago. I am so warmhearted and grateful to see people are still enjoying this.

As much as I would literally sell both of my kidneys for another season, they've covered the manga so another season is unlikely. There's a short spinoff manga series though featuring the highschool life of the Souma's future gen, so possibly there's some content from that.
I watched this over the weekend and gosh! it made me want to re-watch all 67-episodes of the latest adaptation!! Ooooo!!! AND AND I went ahead and bought all the books the very next day! #InLoveWithFruitsBasket
