Is there no way your housing person could let you stay were you are at until your apt. is ready. Try talking to the director. I got a couch you could sleep on, but im in Fargo. Housing should show companion and work with you.
i think so, but i also think theyd make me extend my lease by a month, putting me in the same situation, but maybe, i will definitely ask, thanks for the suggestion
@@philipcox5041 as always, I appreciate your kind words, I think stuff will work out or maybe everything becomes so buggered i move to Minneapolis and open a headshop, its looking like a fine option jk, for better or worse i love ND. but! i could have a smoke shop just on the other side of the border and just walk across the border to get to work? possibilities
@philipcox5041 he knows I have his back, and I'd not let him be living on the street if worst came to worst. I'd let him stay on my couch until an apartment opened up. However, yesterday I told him to ask the new apartment people how long the anticipated wait period is on his application. Then if he knew his wait was 4 to 6 months out for example, he could cancel his 30 day notice (which you can do). But if his wait period is only a month or two out, it's not that big of a deal because he can alternate between camping when he wants to, and staying with me when he wants.
