I see a lot of people talking about balance, its not what players are on the pitch its the fact we never commit more than 4 foward therefore never creating an overload at the top end. You watch any top team in football the whole entire build up revolves around creating an overload somewhere on the pitch to give your better players an extra yard on the ball. We play 2 holding midfielders and dont let the fall backs go past the half way line and just hope the 4 players up top can do something against 6 defensive players. Foden went past 3 players at one point and we was still only left with a 3v3 how is that even possible
