I'm watching this from the future... and you speak mostly english in your videos so hearing this one is sooooo lovely, it sounds beautiful and melodic... kind of makes me want to study it... *v*
@@Loostyc Pronunciation for one, but most of all the grammar of the never ending declinations and conjugations, stretching over all parts of speech. Plus three genders that must be observed and make you suffer relentlessly. Born into it you breathe it in effortlessly, but learning it as a foreign or second language is painful and constantly making you err.
@@annab6948 I learn Polish and it's much easier than German for me cuz I'm Russian. German also has grammatical genders and 4 cases, but it was really, really difficult. But speaking about Polish, I don't need to remember a word's gender as I get it intuitively, also I understand use if cases much better, it's really similar to Russian. So yeah, Polish is difficult (as any other language), but differently for different people.
I was just saying the other day that I wished I could do a Gibson Girl hairstyle but that I didn't want to do the stuffing they used to use. This is a nice alternative, thanks!
That's when you save all those little strands of hair left in your brushes and combs, collect it turn it into a "hair rat" especially for these kinds of voluminous styles. Google it, it's what the ladies did in the olden days. 😁
Please please please do an updated version of this! been trying to find a really good tutorial for a gibson girl hairstyle and yours looks beautiful, but quite difficult to understand. Mine just ends up looking a mess :(
Me, in 2021, randomly deciding to go looking for a victorian/edwardian hair tutorial that is not someone with thin sleek hair... Huh, she looks like Karolina.... O.o Wait a minute
You're speaking really fast, and none of its in English, and as the granddaughter of immigrants I'm a bit paniced and I feel like I'm suddenly in trouble for something. ROFLMBO. Gosh I miss Granny. Rofl
You could probably improvise! But it does stink whenever your hair can't fit with a certain style. My cousin has some thick hair and mine is so limp and weird.
I tried to do this hairstyle once following a different video, and it took me an hour and so many bobby-pins... yet here you are in 5min just pulling this off. I feel lied to by the other video. LOL
+czekoladaimaslo *Thanks for the inside look on realizing a fashion trend* started in the USA by a newspaper illustrator by the name of Charles Dana Gibson (wonder whether our now fellow RU-vidr Debbie needed to do a blond version hereof for live theatre?). Not easy when frizz and split ends are present - they catch in combs.
Gdzie się podziały te badziewia do wypychania włosów? 🤣 Mi tył wychodzi spłaszczony co doprowadza mnie do szału. Z przodu pięknie, z tyłu jakbym dostała patelnią.
