Presenting a remarkable one-owner 2002 Ducati Monster S4 Fogarty "Limited Edition" recently consigned at SUB. These have become increasingly rare finds, particularly in such immaculate condition with exceptionally low mileage (740 miles). It brings me great satisfaction to have facilitated the sale of this bike to its current owner back in December of 2001. The 2002 Ducati Monster S4 Fogarty marked Ducati SpA's second venture into limited edition models, launched exclusively through their corporate website. Prospective buyers eagerly secured their limited edition by placing a deposit online, selecting their preferred dealer for delivery. Upon unboxing, each Foggy Monster revealed a treasure trove of carbon accessories, neatly packed in Ducati Performance boxes within the crate. To adhere to US EPA regulations upon delivery, stock exhausts were fitted. Unveiling the bike felt like unwrapping a special gift, with its myriad upgrades and striking Aldo Drudi-designed paint scheme paying homage to Ducati's four-time World SBK champion, Carl Fogarty, during his prime.
Familiarity with this generation of Ducati Monsters revealed this particular Monster S4 Foggy to be among the cleanest and lowest-mileage specimens encountered, especially considering its Foggy pedigree. Often, carbon components on such bikes had deteriorated, but this one stood out. Given the green light, a comprehensive two-year service ensued, encompassing all fluids changed and timing belt replacements.
The Foggy comes with special Ducati Performance wheel stands bearing the "Foggy" badge, a red garage cover, the original owner's manual, all the original parts, SUB service records, the code card, black and red keys, and a clean WA title.

Paired with a high-grade Termignoni exhaust, this powerhouse churns out 110 horsepower at around 9,750 rpm, with a substantial torque output of 68 pound-feet (92 Nm) at 7,000 rpm. Transmitting power to the rear Marchesini wheel is a six-speed gearbox and dry multi-plate clutch, enabling a swift acceleration from 0 to 60 mph (96 kph) in just 3.4 seconds, with a top speed reaching 147 mph (237 kph).
For suspension, the bike features inverted 43 mm (1.7 inches) Showa forks and an adjustable remote-reservoir shock absorber from Sachs. Braking duties are handled by 320 mm (12.6 inches) discs and four-piston Brembo calipers at the front, along with a single 245 mm rotor and a two-piston caliper at the rear.
