Hey bud the thing really is a beauty. Mind you I'm only a quarter through so sorry if you answer these but does that body fit on infraction? And what one do prefer between the 2. I'll be heading to the running video next 👍🏻💪🏼
@Chris Watson Hey Chris! It could fit an Infraction but you will need to replace the front body mounts and may need to adjust for the diffuser. Oh man, you haven't seen the shootout yet. I put this against the Felony and the EX07 and speak on all three at the end.
Good initial review. Got mine a few days ago. FTX SupaForza GT over here in the UK. I've not run mine yet but I have already upgraded the servo and put a 22 tooth pinion on it. Stock is 12 tooth and it comes with a 14 tooth also. Took out the stock Transmitter and receiver. Replaced with a DumboRC set-up. I have a 4274 2500KV motor on its way. Stock is 4274 2000KV. I don't think it will take a larger pinion than 23 or 24? The 22 tooth was a tight fit. Arrma Felony speed pinion is 27 tooth?
Fs racing is the oem factory for FTX,Reely,Force rc and many Helion rigs..I think some of the early hobbico arrma rigs were manufactured at their factory also.. When hobbico went bankrupt after the lawsuits I purchase a few fs racing vehicles and they came with early arrma electronics installed in them.. and even now fs racing sells a vorteks its old school 2wd arrma body shell on a 4wd fs racing chassis..The same chassis that helion used for the dominus line
Bro. You did a wonderful job giving the review, I wanted one when I saw it an said let me wait an see but after your review I know I want it no question 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I am so happy you put this out.!!! There's another RU-vid that put out the FSR superforza .but I wasn't as impressed with his review as I am with your review... one thing I Do hope is that there's some comparisons from you on this car and the EX07 . I actually feel this car and the EX07 should be compared against each other But I would like to hear your thoughts cause I know you've driven both.. It's interesting because the other RU-vid or didn't mention the EX07 either. And he DID EXTENSIVE reviews on the EX07 and didn't mention one Word about it in his review. Is there a reason why that I don't know??? ....But these two alternatives to the felony should be REVIEWED against each other INMOP
@Anthony. Baxter Thank you! I'm going to make it happen. I was thinking that the whole time I was doing this video but not too many folks know about the EX07, that's why I kept it to the Felony but I can do that. EX07 and Model GT comparison coming, just give me a few to get that filmed and edited.
Mine should be here by the 2nd. I went with the grey Rielly version. Looking forward to adding this to my 7th scale stable. We need more manufacturers building in this scale. Big enough to truely impress, reasonable price points.
The car itself is excellent. Still running it all stock. As I live in the US my only complaint is lack of readily available parts here. Everything must be ordered from overseas. Don't mind waiting for parts when needed than definitely pick one up. Matches up very nice with the Felony and they look great drifting paking lots together.
@TaylorMade901 All depends on your driving. If you are looking for speed runs and all the aftermarket support for parts for speed runs the the Felony is the one you should stick with. For me it's more about parking lot bashing, touring setup and this is perfect for that out of the box.
@@andrataylor6070 For now it looks like it. FTX and Reely distributors don't seem to ship US for now. I had no issue with Furious RC on AliExpress it just takes a while. I ordered back in January and did not get it until March even though it was estimated for April.
In Germany, where Conrad electronics is based, and who own the Reely brand and sell this car as reely deatwatcher, this car costs 399€ at the moment . And that is by far the best price ove seen so far for this vehicle.
@@ReadySetRC Yeah mate I know the Felony is a fictitious model... but there's something way different with my protoform Mustang body and the FTX mate. They certainly perform well, but still don't like the shape of em.
Def not a clone, at the end of the day there is only a certain number of ways to design rc cars. You could say all manufacturers copy one another in different ways.
@joegomez4408 If you saw it in person you wouldn't think so. More of a combo between the Felony and the XO-1. But it's really just it's own car. None of them are an original design.
@@andrataylor6070 Yup they have the same type of card. Not sure if the Spektrum will work on it too but just google Hobbywing program card and it should look just like the Spektrum one.
@@ReadySetRCI received a Hobbywing RSC programer box device...it's just say Connecting ESC, but it's frozen on that..I got the HobbyWing Multifunction LCO Program Box
Right now horizon hobbies, or tower hobbies, is selling the infraction v2 at a $100 usd discount (550). The price point for this should be 500 and below to be competitive;
@Seng Lee Koh That's a truck of the month sale. HH is trying to move inventory. If they permanently reduce the price across the lineup of the 1/7 on-road RC's (Infraction, Limitless and Felony), now you have a valid reason for competitors to reduce their price.
@@ReadySetRCOn your same token of reasoning, if this video is released after April 2nd you have a valid reason for those competitors to charge those current prices if they wish to convince customers for the next week or two to purchase this over the infraction - which has much better probabilities of part support and longevity.
All these morons saying this is a clone of the infraction or even saying the sledge was a Kraton copy really have no clue what they are talking about. This are all folks which came into the hobby recently because of covid boredom and have no experience in the hobby at all, yet they act as if they were fed rc knowledge with a spoon.
