That yard area north of the sawmill, uses the Goldcrest Train Silos - so I'd guess it's a train-truck transfer point and additional storage. On GC it's where you take grains and drop off to transfer to rail, or pick up from rail - or my favorite was just as an additional storage for beets and taters (which you couldn't store at the farm on GC) I'd ship em to the Train Silo just across from the pig farm, and supply the pigs their food from there. Couple of small Brantner Trailers and a little tractor was all that I needed.
When I played GC I must admit that I didn't make full use of the rail options. I did hear of folks parking trains near wooded areas and just loading logs directly onto the train, or parking up near some of the central fields and loading harvest. I did, however, ship a major beet harvest to market by train - managed to fill the train and still had about 180kl left in the train silo, I moved that over to the silo by the pig farm, though I doubt I'd ever use it all, I also kept some grain, corn and seed at that silo to feed the pigs, rather than having a storage on site at the pigs.
Great map tour. I used to drive by a farm in school; they had stenciled "Seldom Rest Farms" on the roof of their main storage shed. Possible alternative?
Jim Bob plays games... Thanks! I'll try that since the loading wagon and tipper have not worked with me quite yet.. thought it was just a bug the creator had to fix
+Daniel Goode some people have said a simple reboot will fix the problem, don't know if that actually works as I've never suffered from it. Failing that, I'd suggest uninstalling/reinstalling the map
Just drove around this map and it's absolutely saturated with obstructions, useless buildings, objects, fences, annoying trees and even a long water canal. These unnecessary features highly restrict freedom of movement on the map. Every trip is a big dog leg and there's no short cut to anywhere. It's like dragging your equipment through a cluttered maze.
