FS19 - How to Change Tractor Sound Files 

Notepad ++ is your friend mate, great video!!

So glad I happened upon this tutorial on changing tractor sounds, I found it very helpful and a huge thanks! It led me in the right direction, I can manipulate files fairly well and have stream lined your method in changing out sound files along with editing paths to links thus made it a bit quicker with some shortcuts. I use win RAR and Notepad ++ which does help a lot, one hint both notepad and notepad ++ have a search feature which takes you to the location in the file that you are looking for. All of these lines inside of the xml sound file, I know how to make changes so that they are pointing to the correct path but what I would like to do is figure out what line I would need to add in order to produce a backup deep sound "reverse beep". I have the beep wav files but not sure how to configure inside the xml file.

I got on youtube looking fore how to do this and was shocked that the sound I wanted to put into a vehicle was the exact same one from the 3rd case. Lol

To open the .XML file in a structured manner, there is Notepad++ which can format your XML how you have it in Internet Explorer. It's available for free. You can also search words, etc. Hope it helps

I followed your steps to add sounds from one tractor to another, the tractor that I'm adding sounds too does not have an existing sound folder as it use in game sounds. I transferred the sound folder and the sounds XML, renamed the engine sounds in the XML to what the other tractors was and when I loaded it up in the game the tractor was silent. hopefully you could help me out here, would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to put sounds from an MB trac on a case 1455 and nothing. What did i do wrong.
