No bullshit production chains, no big clunky towns, no horrible giant buildings in every single area of the map to ruin the views. Just a proper map. That's why it's so good.
Yes. I feel the same. But then you get muppets like Farmer Klein who gives this map a lower score then the ugly boring maps that are made in half the time. His scoring doesn’t even have something to do with farming. That idiot frustrates me immensely. I dislike all of his videos.
@@davidvanmol5199 His grading system has nothing to do with how good or bad the map is. Simply five set criteria, yes or no. The best map in FS22 could rate 2 stars.
All I wish there was, is a few more crop types like rye, alfalfa and others we have seen come to maps recently. Other than that, this does feel like a proper map!
Fantastic map, so simple yet stunning. Reminds me of home. One of the best maps ive played. Ballyspring is great but there's just too much going on imo.
I feel like the absence of foggy days in FS22 is especially evident on UK maps. I feel like an occasional murky Autumn moor would add to Fairhead's charm. Is there a fog mod out there?
What a beautiful map, every turn really is an amazing view! Simple and elegant, I can see this being a lot of fun for those of us that like the smaller equipment! Top stuff!
I am loving this map having just starting it after updates. Your right the details are amazing. I love the texture and color of the grass once mowed. Don't recall seeing them on other maps. Collectibles would cause people to see the details on the hunt. Using medium equipment with no problem on starting farm. I wish the silage barn had the raised rear dump area and not the manure barn. Wish we could delete some structures, but definitely easily playable. Hope to see you here! Another map started thanks to you. 😁 Cheers 👍🚜
Beautiful Map, I believe this is Fast Farming 1st Map? I currently have a few of his Mods downloaded! My only wish is with the Crop Calendar… I would like to be able to Plant Wheat and Barley etc in Spring!
Having actually been to that area a few times in the past I can tell you it feels exactly like this, even on a warm day it’s bloody freezing with tight roads leading here there and everywhere, a perfect representation 👍👍
Stunning! What a looker! I'm not sure if it suits my style of playing, but will be nice to try and adapt to what suits the maps. It's on my shortlist for the next time I strart new. Thanks for sharing, reviewing, showing around.
Wow what a beautiful stunning map iv'e never been to ireland northern or southern but i have been to the peak district and the landscape is very similar to that thanks for another fantastic review.
I tried it for an hour lastnight and thought it was good, I don't want to get into it though as there will be an update coming. What I liked was how clean it was, most farms don't have 4ft of grass in their lanes and yards and it's great to see a map builder not do it.
Without a doubt, the most beautiful “uncluttered” map ever created. This is why I play FS, for some much needed R&R. I am sure there is going to be g to be an update to this map; but until then…… Stunning
Would be nice if they would get equipment like everything that you get in big stuff in to small stuff so the farmal h can plow and disc and plant and is matching horse power. Just old fasion stuff . They did some on 2017 but should had more antiques to play with . Just my thoughts
Lough na Cranagh Crannog is a cracking bit of scots irish mangling..... Lough na Cranagh....lake of the manmade island.....so manmade island in the lake with the manmade island ??? or something.
iv been to sandy bay and stone hendge near thornton farm iv played both maps since fs15 and 17 so had to go see erm and living in north devon put me a few hours a way from sandy bay
And with the update to ballyspring, new crops and also I found the removable walls, fences etc extremely nice for making my own entrances to fields and things. But yeah I’m terms of visually speaking, this map is right up there
I'm currently 4 seasons into the chicken farm.... is it possible to remove fences or hedges on this map ? I'm looking to expand my yard and also looking to widen some gates / entances for larger equipment.... thanks
I remember torturing my dad to drive this route home from portrush. Took a lot longer but the views and the roads worth it. Want to drive it again soon. Fs22 will have to do for now.
Cant seem to find the milk selling point, i have tried them all Costal Dairies Ltd. i have the milk loaded in the old orange pickup so might be something to do with that.
Lovely map. Kinda unfortunate that ballyspring has set the bar so high. It’s probably just me but feels like something is missing. Again, probably because ballyspring has me spoilt
Had exactly the same issue. Couldn't work out why I had bought 16 cows and only one was wandering around the barn. Took me 30 mins when I was on route to mow a field to suddenly realise there was a field of cows next to the carpark! Still love this map though.
ummm... after purchasing 2 different parcels with spruce trees and the spruce woodlot at the top -- none of the trees on any can be cut with a chainsaw. No blue or green prompt appears to cut. purchased a parcel on the east side of map - but can't access 1/3 of it as there's no gate and neither the fence or walls can be removed (unless there's a way outside of the regular demolish option). Parcel at the bottom east side contains 3 fields but no access to one of the fields because of the stone wall and no gate so no way to get to your own fields without access across neighbor's property ?? east / west road (pavement) across the top has 12 inches of the top of a wire fence sticking out of the asphalt. Launches vehicle nicely... there may be more issues but quit after half an hour. Shame as its very pretty. But..... also.... Dunno if its a desire for realism or something but when you can't demolish / sell / alter ANYTHING about the map ??? - how realistic is it that a farmer wouldn't be able to widen a gateway or trim back a hedge? or put in access to his own land ?
The map is all just for scenic views. Buy station has a stupid blue car in the way. Fence just randomly sticking out of the road near lot 29. The map is more for tourists not for farmers. Needs alot of fixing b4 you call it amazing 😂😂😂😂
