I usually get other peoples maps, delete ALL fence splines and things that will catch up tractors and trailers like stupid road signs etc. I also enable powertools so if i roll a vehicle i can pick it up and replace it rather than resetting the vehicle. I like rectangular fields too so this is a big help, Thanks.
wel just one thing when you do it like that it wont be on consols and only pc. i did try it and use testrunner. show up alot off erros. like this. uncached material configuration the used material configuration inside the mod not present in the shader cache Shader (file: None, hash: 0, variation: none) Material properties used in the mod (properties: DIFFUSEMAP, NORMAL_MAP_FORMAT_2C) Modify your material in the mod to match one of the configurations which are available in the cache → Choose only one of the following near configurations!
You can adjust the meter per pixel. That adjust the scale of the terrain vs the dem. To go bigger adjust the dem image scale and all the weight images.
hey, iknow this is a one year old video and i might not get a awnser but i will ask anyway,where do i get the little window wit "terrain editing" and "Brush" i dont find it, i would a apprecate a help =)
So how do i open a alredy existing mod map, edit it as i please and then save it? Cant seem to figure out how to rename and save it? Also when i try to do what you do and make a map from 'Alredy existing' i save it to the Mod folder but it dosnt work. It dosn't show ingame 😪 Hard to figure this out when you Never modded before haha
To open a mod, unzip into a folder then you can edit it. Check your log.txt to see if the mod has a loading error, that should help. Also feel free to join my discord, it's a place to chat and share pictures.
