Great pliers. For rigging, you may want to consider forceps. Pretty cheap used on line, terrific hold. In fact, I keep a pair with a rubber band around the handles to apply lower gripping force for delicate parts. Another great rigging tool is crochet hooks, to pull threads from tight spaces.
Forceps are a great tool to have at the workbench and I have quite a few. But even they have a hard time dealing with the super-fine rigging I use for WWI planes. These "pleezers" worked really well for it. -TK
It's the little things in life. Like a little well made pair pliers. I have some many pliers, tweezers, cutters, etc., already. My cutters are new, but my goto needle nose, regular pliers, as well as tweezers are my originals, +30 or more years old. I guess I'm attached too them. Anyway, just ordered the magazine subscription today, check is tge mail. Thank you FSM
They are the Xuron Holding Pliers--new to the catalog and introduced in January. No. 452. Here's the link to Xuron's page. xuron.com/blog/traditional-tweezers-vs-xuron-452-holding-pliers/.
It is great to see the band back together! I missed these weekly videos! In regards to Xuron, I love each and every one of their tools that I have, which includes the pliers shown in this episode. I would really like to see them add a single blade nipper to their offerings.
