Georgia Cappleman is a total badass in the courtroom. I love her technique of peppering witnesses with 100 carefully crafted questions, getting all the essential bits and pieces she needs to later assemble into a final death blow closing argument. She’s a machine! 💪🏽

I think these women are easily manipulated especially with money. I’m sorry, I’m Filipina too and I’m embarrassed for them. No pride at all! The guy Charlie that you are protecting is not worth it! What a shame!

The harder that she and her lawyer try to deny her statements and minimize her testimony, the more dishonest she seems. GUILTY. Charlie, his mother, and his sister should be on trial.
I don't know if they will ever have the evidence to connect Wendi and the Mom. Unless Charlie flips. But this family seems pretty tightknit and will probably fall on the sword for them. I look forward to Charlie's trial and hopefully conviction. But keep in mind the Aldeson's have millions to spend on lawyers and will throw the bank at Charlie to try and keep him out of prison.
To me it seems as though the Adelina are controlling all the defense witnesses. No one forgets stapled money and it’s not something would say because they are hurt. She is not credible. IMO

Yes, Judge Newman was awesome in that trial!! I just watched a video that Alex’s lawyers are trying to kick Attorney Mark Tinsley off the case of the Mallory Beech case. She’s the 19 year old that was thrown off the boat when Paul Murdaugh was drunk driving the boat and she wasn’t found until the 8th day. I really admire Tinsley.

It is so irritating that witnesses in a murder trial are so air headed and non chalant, not just trying to take back recorded statements and transcripts but then evade the important questions in them is baffling. “Umm we just talked thru out the night” she’s in regular communication with Charlie adelson.

I wondering if the Law Professor’s parents will ever get the justice for their beloved son? And all that people responsible for his death will be living free and laughing they’ll get away with murder? All of them feel nothing for that innocent man that was murdered, including his ex wife. her micro expressions are so telling. When she’s being truthful/relaxed, her mouth is slightly open, no tension in her facial muscles. When she lies or says something she thinks will get her in trouble with Adelson, she frowns immediately after, looks like she’s literally in pain, & her eyes dart around.

I just find some of these people unsavoury and it’s gut wrenching that a decent man who had so much to give back to society and a bright future ahead with two sons was wiped out in such a violent careless cruel way - and it seems at the hands of that ghastly family, including the dubious brother in law of the victim, Charles, I think he’s called. He’s flaky and shady to say the least judging by his louche lifestyle. What a waste of space he is and the one who was a worthwhile human being, murdered without a shred of remorse from any of the key players in this seedy situation. I can only conclude that if Charlie is not charged there is corruption in this high profile case. Why have they overlooked Wendi? The first person to look at is the spouse or ex-spouse. Wendi's interview with the police was very suspicious. No one in the family has been accountable.

Because Charlie wormed his way back into her good graces. She was salty when she gave that recorded interview. Since he had just had a baby with another woman. I bet he was trying to seduce her into saying she lied about the stapled money. But she stuck to the truth thankfully. As much as she tried to protect Charlie the truth is the truth.
They probably wanted to control the oldest son and realized they couldn't. With Charlie, they probably threw up their hands since they couldn't control his dating life either. Plus they already got their Jewish grandchildren through Wendi-- odd that they wanted to kill off the Jewish former son-in-law, whom they thought was too Jewish and a "religious zealot."
The take-away for everyone watching this SHOULD BE what many folks who work in the medical/dental fields and the more ‘trusted practitioners’ who interact with patients daily ALREADY KNOW. They are simply human beings who were blessed with the INTELLECT to acquire licensure in these fields. Remember it says NOTHING about who they are as people. I’m sure many people would be very surprised to know what goes on when the lab coat comes off.
I live in Boca Raton Florida and had an appointment with Charlie but canceled it because of an insurance issue...That is why this case has captivated me so much..I couldn't believe it when I watched it on the news.. You are completely correct...we don't know and that is scary

The guy was seeing multiple women, and the ladies were giving it up, thinking maybe he could be a catch. Well the catch is in jail for caring so much about his sister and listening to the whole family whine about how sad and frustrated Wendi is.
Katherine’s friend that testified about employment needs to take a chill pill, it’s funny to me she gives eye contact then when answering questions she closes her eyes or looks away, so strange.

Is it a bad sign when someone takes a very long pause before answering “no” to the question: “Do you have children?” Did she momentarily think she had a kid and just forgot? I can’t with this entire mess of people.
The only explanation for this I could think of is that she had a child and gave that child up for adoption. Or if her parental rights had been terminated for some other reason.

They don’t go so far as to call it slang or local dialect so it might be on its way up the ladder to legitimacy. This happens frequently in the English language which is why it’s probably the most convoluted language on the planet...next to French maybe?

It now consists of 20 volumes and bears little resemblance to the standard dictionaries used in schools, etc. You can buy it for about $1500 or better still buy “The Meaning of Everything” by Simon Winchester for about $4.00. It’s a fascinating read and explains Oxford University’s original attempt to document every single word in every dialect in the English language but after years of trying they realized it was impossible due to the non-stop evolution of the language. It’s been an ongoing project ever since. As for June Umchinda, to my knowledge she’s never been incarcerated. I believe you’re referring to Katie Magbanua, who is still in prison, and in fact still in “protective custody” awaiting retrial. Next court date Dec 03/20 - retrial sometime next year.

karen wallace: My first language is English. I consider myself to be well versed in this language, well educated and certainly not a dummy. I also speak Spanish and French...not conversational in either case but enough to get by when needed. I’ve been corrected a number of times but never called a dummy over grammatical or usage errors. I have a lot more respect for people who attempt multiple languages than for those who foolishly attempt to deride them. I understood them to have been in a nearly two-year steady relationship when HE cheated on her and got another woman pregnant. So who’s the ho here. As for the case being over, I’m pretty sure it’s barely begun. If the State can convict Katherine Macbanua in April they will then have established the rock-solid link to the Adelsons needed to make two or three more arrests. And who knows, Ms Macbanua might even flip by then...if they can keep her alive. There’s an obvious reason she’s been held in protective custody for three years now. She’s the final link to back up Luis Rivera’s confession and testimony about the involvement of the Adelsons. Without her they have only Luis Rivera, an uneducated, illiterate street punk well versed in lying and self-preservation. With his testimony alone, there’s no possibility whatsoever of gaining any further convictions. We’ll see in April. Merry Christmas to you!

Why ANYONE would start a relationship with any of the Adelsons after this case started to come to light is absolutely mind boggling. She said they had just broken up when she gave her statement and when asked if that meant she was lying, she said no. Then wtf did you say that for? To say you would not have said anything that made him look bad if you were not upset at the time? Umm ok. Well that was irrelevant.
I think maybe you missed the prosecution’s point here. They wanted Ms Umchinda to say that while Charlie had the money he did not have the facilities or connections to actually arrange the murder but Katie Magbanua did have those connections and she is the one on trial, not Charlie. Their efforts to have Ms Umchinda partially retract earlier statements attributed to ‘a woman scorned’ worked perfectly. It was a brilliant move and helped convict the person on trial, Katie Magbanua. Charlie’s up next, and then who knows.
I’m sure the law enforcement is building a case with proof to get the family. Eventually they’ll get arrested and do time. Thank you Mentor Lawyer for great videos
Mariposa Azul - you are right about that. Charlie is in jail - arrested in April of 2022. Trust me, the prosecution team is doing what is necessary! They will all face justice.
