I watch a RU-vid channel- Crime Talk. They promote a website that you pay an amount of money to investigate someone’s background. It’s not very much per month and you can cancel anytime. I just discovered this case. So terribly sad about Dan. I hope some day Wendi and Donna go to jail.

This Adelson family is rich and entitled people, always used to getting their own way. That’s why this crime was committed. Wendi knew (she’s a lawyer and could have looked up the law) what the law was re custody arrangements (that she couldn’t take her kids out of the County willynilly and move so far away). Because her horrific mother and the rest of the family (sans her older brother) didn’t like the law, this man was killed.

it was a blessing in disguise the 2nd trial pushed the prosecution to keep working on the Dulce Vita recordings. And where able to get part of it listenable. Which led to her final conviction and Charlies arrest. As I understood as soon as the IT guy made the recordings clear. The prosecutors ran, not walked to the grand jury to finally get him indicted and arrest warrant.

Cops will jam up just about anyone they get in their head as "suspicious." Even if they have little or no real evidence. Sometimes even when there is not a consensus among law enforcement. If you hit the radar in certain cases and there isn't another suspect often the focus shifts away from searching for suspects at all. The prison system is full of people who can tell that story.

The state said they didn't have probable cause without Katie connecting Charlie to the murder. There is circumstantial evidence, but they need a link to Charlie, and Katie won't flip yet--as if Katie's baby daddy would murder a guy he didn't no with no connection to him in anyway. Charlie's very unsure when he says to Katie, "I feel sure that my Mum said the guy mentioned your name". The guy CLEARLY said "You've been helping Katie out". They're all pretty flippant with the details, considering the severity of this situation.
So painfully obvious how Charlie is being so extra phony nice to Katie to keep her happy from getting weak or flipping, but she is a cold enough blooded criminal. What is the going theory as to why Katie won't flip after being in jail so long; she was obviously offered immunity, and you would think she would choose to be with her kids than in jail protecting Charlie, no matter how much he is paying her. Very strange, because they are both definitely guilty, along with Wendi and the Mom (Wendi is also involved since she tried to set up her ex-boyfriend as the suspect, setting the hit at the exact time her ex would be leaving the area of the crime to go to Tennessee so it would look like he was fleeing the scene along with motive). But what's up with Katie willing to stay in jail for years to protect Charlie. That's the biggest mystery of the case.
I think that Katie's lawyers have some connection with the Adelsons/their lawyers. Adelsons know that if Katie flips, they are really doomed so working hard to keep her out. Her lawyers are probably assuring her that they will get her off and based on her testimony during the trial and the way she talks in the wiretaps, she is fiery and defiant and thinks she can outsmart everyone, which did work somewhat during the last trial since 2 jurors didn't convict her. And prob why she thought she could get away with orchestrating the murder in the first place.

I was just thinking how much money this case cost the State when there are so many poor, homeless, starving people. These murderers are monsters really and the impact is not just on the family (obviously the worst impact) but it filters down into every part of society, the taxes that are paid to fund these cases etc. I was also thinking that one should create jails out of mine dumps that are no longer functioning, so that they are living underground with no light, no contact with our planet.
My thinking is further than rather spending huge amounts on jail buildings we create them underground making our money work harder for us and put them in '''darkness'''where these monsters belong. She was furious and wanted him gone. Plus, she wanted her hateful witch daughter to move to Miami with the kids, even though the judge ruled against that since there was a 50/50 custody arrangement in effect. If this was extortion as Charlie claims he learned around 2016 - he knew who killed his sisters children's father - and did not tell Wendy (according to her she did not know until NOW) or police to that I am being extorted and I know who really did it! He did not do that then or call the cops when the bump happened. He didn't tell the cops who extorted him because he knew they would find the truth back in 2016.

They have video footage of Katie's baby daddy in Tallahassee following the victim and a witness seeing his car fleeing the scene, and a full confession from the murderer's accessory who was driving the car.
Just like the other. Commenter said , the car got them caught , law enforcement was able to track it using a bunch of cameras located all over town, but the main camera was on a city bus that happen to be right behind the shooters car and it caught the license plate , it was all over from there on,
Most importantly the neighbor heard gunshots and saw the silver green Prius leave the scene. Plus cops looked at motive. Wendi had the most motive. The cops knew it was a hit because Dan M had no enemies. So the cops tracked down the Prius via video. Then at the toll they saw Luis Rivera in the car on the video. Oh and when Luis and sigfredo garcia rented the Prius they signed their real names. Once they had Rivera, he flipped on everybody. He said sigfredo told him the lady (Wendi) wanted her kids back. So Wendi was implicated.
And they found a connection from the phone tower dump to the Adelson’s from Garcia’s number to Harvey’s number and then it all snowballed from there. Harvey to Charlie Charlie to Katie Katie to Garcia Garcia to the car rental company etc etc Brilliant really.
