You had no heading ,not deployed flaps sufficiently to glide at such low speed ..if u bring this plane down at 145 knots believe me ur gonna go down like a dart without flaps and no vertical speed adjustment man

Constructive criticism on this video: have plenty of Dramamine on hand to watch this vid as the camera is panning all over the place and please leave out any "colorful metaphors" as the "F" word was used towards the end, there are kids that watch these vids too. And yes, fsx is a flight simulator not a game. It is a teaching/learning exercise in handling an aircraft. Also when the 747 is on the ground the cockpit is about 2 stories off the ground and thus keep the nose slightly elevated when touching down.
William Alexander I know because he came in to high he should have had 15 flaps and almost gliding on landing he should have had his nose elevated in a real life situation that plane would have broke in two on impact as he never landed well
I'm pretty sure you are. Commercial jets use flaps on takeoff. A cessna won't, but a commercial jet will use flaps on takeoff, more of the question is how much flaps.
I've been on many commercial flight and the pilots never used flaps on take off. Flaps slow down the take off which can be dangerous in some situations
I don't know what proof you want. I've been on a commercial jet, sitting by the wing on a 747-400 and I can promise you the flaps are down. avioners.net/2013/07/klm-asia-boeing-747-400-while-takeoff-a.html/ This picture clearly shows flaps being employed on takeoff. Furthermore they're not dangerous, the reason why they may not be used is if the runway is extremely long and you don't need to use absolute power and maximum lift. Furthermore flaps reduce climb performance and acceleration, complicating climbing and fuel efficiency. But no it isn't dangerous for commercial situations; I don't know where you got that idea from sunshine.
Ok i guess those pilots were stupid because we had the same crew 4 times in a row all international flights. Stupid Austrian airlines. And can you do a Antonov An-225 from a short runway its a request not a question because i failed once cause i was stupid enough to not use max thrust on take off.
And you're going to need flaps as well. I don't really want to do the AN225 since there aren't any decent renditions of. I could do it in a military jet however.

My autopilot is not working right at all, alt hold just plumits me stright into the ground; vs +1800 CMD is on. any idea what is causing this? altimeter set correctly btw Reply
it was happening all the time either with it on or off, wouldnt have thought trim would affect the alt hold when its on but it does and the nose was pitching down anyway .
Wow, you never use your autopilot on the ground! Only after you take off! Of course the autopilot will trim back and stall you if you're flying auto on take off. Even if you set the vs to 500. Wow, you must be new to aviation.
140 knts for taking off. Lol, you need to actually calculate ur rotating speed, You use ur fmc, and u input all the info in the fmc, and it gives u a good v1 and rotating speed. if u randomly pull out a speed, you're most likely not gonna get lift. My aircraft needed 190 knts to lift off, It was because my aircraft was havier

Sorry for this late reply but if you want to look around, you hold the space bar and using your mouse to look around. Btw what gpu are you using? If it doesn't have a lot of v ram graphics are crappy unless you fly at your own without a lot of planes around you.
