They are bringing in 20 missions and this plane in the 40th Anniversary update in November.

@@NealTV8 Didn't do this one. I liked it, so much, that I'm looking into the programs for writing missions to port this one to FS2020. Stay tuned.

I'm plating around with it. There will have to be some modifications. There is no Quince Mil (SPIL) airport, in FS2020. I can't even find it in Google. And even if one were to create one, the lakes are not the proper direction or distance. Have to do some major modifications, since FS2020 doesn't make place up, like FSX did. 🤣🤣

You pass the mission, but you only get the ceremonial mask for your reward, NOT the cursed idol.

I don't know, I know I was busy trying to land safely and don't know the procedure in event of a oil leak on the G21A.

I suspect the real reason is that you're overcontrolling it!

Go to the settings, there's an option called "show captioning"

Thanks! I only back up at airports, anyway -- when on water, I just taxi real slow for precise stopping. BTW, this mission is straight out of Indiana Jones! ;-)

I don't have any problems controlling it on the water -- it just requires some practice!

The Goose doesn't use reverse thrust, but you would hold F2 to use them.

It comes with FSX: Deluxe or Steam Edition.

Select engine (E+1 or E+2), Ctrl+F1 to put it in full coarse pitch, then hold Ctrl+F2 until the prop stops. Or just use the prop pitch lever (which, AFAIR, should be on the overhead panel)!

The secret is to be at just the right altitude when the left engine catches on fire -- which is not easy, considering that the altimeter is not working!

@@agentorange153 you can still see your true altitude by doing shift+z once. You'll see your altitude even after the altimeter stops working.

climb up to 6700 ft, then you'll be fine. When your first engine shuts down, you can still maintain altitude. When your second engine shuts down, start going down but no faster than 1,000 ft/min.

Thanks for the advice re. cruising altitude! And I know about the Shift+Z trick -- however, I won't do that because I consider that cheating!
