What's sad is the Scimitar was invented by MD and was first put on the MD11 than 30+ years later after Boeing bought MD they bring back the scimitar so we could say the 737-8 Max has a little MD11 on it

McDonnell Douglas had planned a new series of DC-10 family trijets called the MD-XX, which were lengthened versions of the MD-11. The MD-XX Long Range would have been capable of travelling distances up to 8,320nautical miles and had a wing span of 213 feet. The project was cancelled in 1996, one year before McDonnell Douglas was taken over by Boeing. Airbus filed a patent in 2009 for a new, twin-tail trijet design, but it is unknown if this will ever be developed or produced.

If I ever win the Lottery, I'm going to buy an MD-11, and some land large enough to keep it stored in. I'd look after it well. This is a beautiful jet, and it's kinda sad that it only outlasted the DC-10 by a few months.

I was actually the first youtuber having 777X in it's channel name ;) then some Fly777X changed his name and before he did that he asked me for permission then tim and this guy came up with the 777X part. you better get back to your minecraft business ;)

maddog pilot. If you want a little more viewers you may want to get more ''realistic'' movie names instead of good by ''MegaDeath-11''. just what i think. I am not saying that i am better than you in making videos and stuff like that cus this was an amazing video. just a little more realistic names on your videos. Just what i think. and i will subscribe too you. grear videos. ( I know that the MD-11 crashed some times )

Negative. Still relatively lotta MD-11Fs flying around, but also all on their way to being retired. Lufthansa Cargo, Fedex, Martinair Cargo and a few more cargo airlinea still fly them.
