FSX Steam SimConnect 

Wow I have been trying to get my Saitek Flight Instrument panel working for days. It simply wouldn't work despite trying everything with drivers exe.xml and reading through 100s of forums. I finally stumpled upon this. After running SimConnect it solved my problem. Any FSX Steam edition users out their don't forget to follow this video to get your instrument working. when I install the 3 different SimConnects, I dont get the EULA Window to accept. only a Window what shows a install process, but than, nothing happens anymore. Is this correct? I'm not sure...

My PMDG 800/NGX was having issues and would shut FSX SE down... After Activation and everything... your 3 MSi SIm connect Vabooms just fixed everything..... Thank You very Much!!!!!! :-)

The order in which you install the three .msi files is opposite to the one suggested by fspassengers.com, which is as follows: Install the three SimConnect.msi by double clicking on them in order: 1-RTM/Simconnect.msi 2-SP1/Simconnect.msi 3-XPACK/Simconnect.msi I am sure the order would be significant so it seems one of you is bound to be wrong. Any comments?

hello., here is a good one... I have box verison and now moved to steam .... the simconnect gose to the box and will not notice steam... is there a fix for this?

i'am confused. i thot connecting to FSX would be automatic and done through the Steam application? do we not jst connect to Steam from the desktop Steam App and then choose FSX? thats how i connect to my other Steam programs (Rise Fo Flight sim and Tomb Raider). this video suggests we first set FSX to connect itself? wat is Sim Connect anywayzz? do we HAVE TO use Sim Connect,,, or can i connect to start FSX from within the Steam application?

I'm really not trying to be mean... I don't usually leave these comments... but please someone tell me what's with the "left double-click".... two modifiers? Just say... "click on"... or if you're trying to be technical "enter the directory"... I feel like I'm in my grandma's computer learning class. I guess while I'm at it with the nit-picking, some people use left-handed mice, maybe they need to right click. Some people use the single-click option in Windows Explorer... but whatever. Helpful video anyway, sorry to be that guy

When I click on the Sim Connect installer at the beginning, it gathers the required information and then nothing more happens. I have been having trouble getting my GSX to work because it doesn't show up in the add ons bar, and forums told me to do this SDK thing. I need help please.

Would this work for FS INN? Ever since I installed an update for Steam, I have not been able to use FS INN- I wish I never installed that update.... Whenever I start up FSX, it says error with a third party software FS COPILOT.dll.

I installed them but I still cannot open GSX intstaller, is gsx compatible with Steam Edition if not i wasted my cash , please let me know

I am new to any of the fsx stuff and was wondering if I need to install ESP separately somehow in addition to just the simconnect as shown here in the video. I am wanting to create an app that simply polls info out of the game, such as attitude and lat/long of the aircraft while flying and send it to my custom app via ethernet (udp or tcp) on another computer that would be unrelated to any fsx stuff, but used for other things. While looking at the simconnect microsoft tutorial on how to setup visual studio, it mentions to check for some Microsoft ESP folders in various locations, but I cannot find those anywhere, hence why I am wondering. At this point I assume that running this simconnect installation is only to support already existing addons, but not to develop any? Or is simconnect all I need to develop new addons without a seperate need to install ESP? Can anyone answer or confirm this?

Thanks for the video, anyone use this to help install any Areosoft add ons ? I have the latest version of Fsuipc as well but everything runs when I install the planes from Areosoft except for the fuel planner for the Twin Otter X. Thanks.
