I would say he was more of an artist, simply and clearly. He just happened to work with clothes, but he could`ve been a painter or a musician as well.

It gives me chills just watching him in these interviews. He's a great talent. He stands out among the rest of his contemporaries because he's the one that brings out avant-garde and fearless collections; one that would strike to shock but deemed very artistic. I wouldn't say the same with Marc Jacobs or Dolce and Gabbana, or Donatella Versace because McQueen made his mark as a legendary designer, with the likes of Lagerfeld, Tom Ford, Ghesquière, and Prada.
