FTM: Dysphoria vs. Dysmorphia 

For me it’s also an experience. Being biologically female causes me distress, living as female caused me distress, not having a penis makes me feel intense disappointment

It’s really hard to figure out if it’s dysphoria or dysmorphia when it’s focused on my chest. I have large breasts and I can never figure out whether it’s a gender thing or a body dysmorphia thing.

Yeah I got both too, but with dysphoria it's how people see ,think ,treat and compair me / ("the parts") and being closeted that means I'm seen as a tomboy or asked if I'm a lesbian and MAN I do not like feeling sorry for myself BUT it SUCKS!

When I came out to my mom, and she still thinks like this, she told me pretty much that she thinks I have no issue with my gender but it’s because of when I got bullied a lot. Thank you for this video, I might send it to her so that could help her understand. My body is naturally androgynous enough that I can pass if I really really try but I guess that’s not enough. I thought I had dysmorphia but if I do, I know I very likely also have dysphoria.

I’m anorexic. Kind of in remission at the moment. Anorexics tend to have Dismorphia all the time. Anyone would understand that. We’re thin,but we can never see it.😢
