Custom rc upgrades make some nice titanium towers for these, and hinge pin holders, just put those on mine as I broke the plastic ones,, they’re so much better
Such an awesome bash and rig and the chap who presents these shows is straight up QooL ✅ diggin the way you only fixed the part that was broke and not matching pairs as this will show us how he does and you had 3 and a half backflips straight after your first backflip💯😎😎✅ 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 not happy it came to and end so I’m watching from the start again Hope this gets your views up😎😎😎 oh yh EnCore EnCore Watch this of your for an hour easy 🤬 your style is real friggin QooL 🤩
I have just picked one up today, the power is unreal....I'm not so Kean on the bashing tho...few people on RU-vid smashing these poor trucks to bits. It's no wonder they break look after the poor old girl haha
Ahhhhh nahhhhh not all of us want to see others just super send everything. I personally want to see other people get some nice clean videos with commentary showing the cars how they perform. Not always how they break and what most hanous Expensive upgrade that is needed to be bought Great video bud I like these more real videos. 😜big cars used to scare me to then I spent 2 years to finish a M2C Outcast build. It’s still small to some peoples standards but hey that’s okay 👍 🤘😊
@@noobrccars4392 For sure they are. My cousin Shane came to me with 4000 dollars and said build me a total beast We ended up with a Kraton 6s with a full M2C Beefcake Kit and a max 6 esc with a 1730 kv motor Man the way the hobby is going there’s stuff out there I’m having a hard time imagining how I could ever afford such things. Happy bashing bro your channel is a good one 😊🤘👍⭐️
The rear shock tower does get bend when landing hard on its roof (I’m pretty sure that’s what bent mine rather than from force going through the suspension)… I have the red one on order. Really enjoyed watching that : )
@@noobrccars4392 fitted my red rear shock today today, as well as a new front arm and front hinge pin bracket. Just got a standard front bracket for £3. I doubt it will bend again unless I do another ridiculous 20ft nose dive into concrete! I put a few washers in various places on the front to get rid of some slack. For the rear tower I used the second hole in (the outer one will stop the body from fitting properly). All seems well… it’s already had a few roof landings and cartwheels and nothing has bent yet. Something I noticed today after messing with the throttle trim… you can never tell when it’s centred really because it’s buttons, and you can click it about 4 times either way before it ‘idles’ at neutral trigger. But as soon as I adjusted it the throttle response got noticeable slack. I couldn’t land any jumps because I had no air control… it was too delayed. So I reset the end points on the ESC which made it super responsive again. Just thought id mention it as you were having a few problems.
@@noobrccars4392 got a link? Also noticed today that the spare wheel has a pretty big effect on balance. I took it off to see what it looks like and it definitely made it tend to nose down. Seen a few people for spoilers instead but they mustn’t be jumping them, or maybe a different battery setup.
The spare wheel snapped off mine 🤣 I was going to leave it off but the balance makes sense so might have to try and reattach it. I’ll get a link can’t wait to take it out if it stops raining ever.😂
Now that’s a decision, I love the mt 10 it’s one tuff little truck and quite a bit cheaper. This is a lot faster and heavier. If I had to choose I’d get both.🤣 but seriously I’d probably get the mt10 as it’s a bit smaller and you don’t need as much room. But then again the DR8 is so much faster.🤔 oh I can’t choose.😂
@@noobrccars4392 this is the exact problem I'm up against at the moment. I don't normally bash at skate parks as there isn't any near me it drive more on fields and forests but it looks like both are super capible in these environments
Been wanting to try different tyres on mine for some hill climbing and those look perfect. Great video… I killed my DR8 at a similar skate park a few days ago (front swing arm literally ripped off the hinge pin, the pin itself was fine!) and the motor slipped out of place)… it was a ramp like the middle one with the flat top… must have sent it 20ft up… few perfect landings on the other side before totally missing the ramp and nose diving into the concrete. Oops. I backflip mine a lot now. Once you get a feel for the weight of it it’s a lot of fun!
Thank you 🙏. I’m glad I’m not the only one who killed there’s the wheels are awesome just a shame their quite expensive. It is pretty controllable in the air I just need a bit more practice🤣
@@noobrccars4392 just looked. About £60 for 4!!! Maybe one day. Even though they seem to clear ok it looks like it could do with some hub extensions to make it a little wider.
@@noobrccars4392 I decided against the extensions with the stock wheels because it would but they wheel centreline quite far from the bearings, but those wheels appear to have a bigger (or is it smaller?) offset whilst being a bit wider too so the hub is quite far into the wheel… Maybe a 1cm extension would work well.
I've been considering this mod. Somewhat confused as to which bracket is which as two are referred to as being for front ...i guess that's front front and front rear ? Which site did you order from please?
I'm new too, and got a dr8 a couple of weeks ago, I can't work out how to get the wheels off. I removed the hex nut but the wheel wouldn't come off and I didn't want to force it . Can you do a quick video showing how to as I would love to put those wheels on mine .
Hi there thanks for watching. You’ve got it right mine we’re tight too I found wiggling it got it loose in the end.. you can safely use a bit of force the hubs are pretty strong.try undoing all four one will probably be looser than the others. Once you’ve got them off the first time they go on and off a lot easier. If you put your thumb on the hub and your fingers behind the wheel and push pull they’ll come off. Let me know if you don’t have any joy and I’ll do you a video 👍
That’s a tricky question in terms of what you get for the money yes it’s my favourite. It feels like a much more expensive car than it is. Goes really well and is upgradable for sensible money.
@@noobrccars4392 Cheers for the quick reply. I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get one, otherwise I'll end up buying lots of smaller/slower cars that will cost me more overall. Keep up the good work, I'm still slowly going through your back catalogue. 🙂
