Ftx zorro brushless upgrade.

That exploded 🤣🤣 I had the ftx outlaw and did the same. Put a similar brushless thing in it and it just broke a lot after that. Sweet vid dude! We all like to see a bit of carnage 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Love your honesty just had this on my ftx outlaw just fixed it last night .....had so much power the rear drive shaft broke had to make a custom shaft from old arrma parts😂

Ive recently bought one of these. Currently in the process of making it all metal/ carbon so this doesn't happen 🤣 but im definitely not sending off skatepark ramps. Good vid regardless 🤣

Watch your rear driveshafts, you're in for a great time with them.! Mind the cheaper options for "steel" upgrades, they're mostly rubbish.! Buy cheap buy twice is the lesson I've recently learned.! Stay safe mate.

the outlaw body takes the wheels since its an open wheeler version of the same thing. But also that comes with larger diameter tires than the Zorro, they're the same diameter as these ZD Racing tires

I think the reason the rear axle broke was because of the larger tires not allowing the chassis to bottom out when it hit the ground and transfer that energy to a large flat surface. Also could be a 20 foot drop...

Nice video Is that a write off or is it fixable with replacement parts? Edit: Nevermind I just saw your follow up video, shocked it only took £18 to fix it, thought it was for the bin once I saw the main chassis broke.

Hey bud! just stumbeld on your channel because i bought me an FTX Zorro (orderd in the UK) and it should get here on friday 29.9. I live in germany and this car isnt avaible here :(. So i have orderd a robitronic razer Ten 3652 with 4000kV (2-3s) for the Zorro. Its my first brushless... i always had either nitro but more gasoline in 1/5th scale. I will run it mostly 2s because i got only one 3s battery :( Would you say the motor is a good fit for the car? also i purchased Team Louise MT-Rocket because they are the same dimensions as the original Zorro wheels but with street thread. I left you an Sub, keep up the vids! cheers mate

What is it with everyone wanting monstertruck tires on a trophy truck? Also puts a lot more stress on motor and ESC if you don't gear it down.

I have a really old Arrma fury mega that was in bits after years of tinkering when i can with rc, i was going to bin it, yet something told me to try it out with a simple 45 amp brushless esc it goes like stink now. And unlike my pro volcano with HW 120 amp esc which i dont like to smash to bits, and those tires you showed, i got some but they do come off the rim easliy so have some tire glue handy guys..Tghough for the money thoseb tires and wheels are well worth it,, it is simple to take your time and do a good glue job, but how to strengthen those rims?.

With the bigger wheels the over all gear ratio might be too high.

Bigger wheels + small motor (f540 is a lot smaller and less powerful than a 3650) = cogging , if it was stock wheels + 3650 at 4300kv it would have been fine.

FTX are not TRAXXAS/ARRMA tough :)
