We're so tired of the buffering or having to force stop the HULU app! My wife just downloaded the Fubo 7 day trial. So far it looks like we're going to dump HULU! The guide has pushed me to make this decision.
Another very informative video folks. IMO, Fubo's UI is light-years ahead of the Hulu UI, and I MUCH prefer the Fubo DVR. 1,000 hours is more than enough space for me, and when coupled with unlimited retention time I think that it really has no rival. As usual though, I have to say that without the Turner networks I just can't seriously consider Fubo. It's not JUST because of the sports though. I like a lot of the regular tv programing on the Turner channels, ESPECIALLY the movie marathons, and TCM makes a lot of older and hard to find movies available. Adding the RSN's without raising prices (SO FAR) IMO, makes it less likely that we will see the Turner networks come back to Fubo anytime soon. In order to get the Turner networks back, without raising prices they will have to drop something. My vote would be to get rid of the Viacom channels, NONE of which I watch, but that won't be possible until their current agreement runs out, and who knows how long that is. The bottom line for me is that because of the Turner situation, I would pick Hulu at this time over Fubo, but that's the ONLY reason. Also, Fubo has dropped the AMC package since you made this video, which is probably a big part of the reason they didn't raise prices when they added the RSN's.
Agreed on the differences between the UI. We really like what fubo has to offer along those lines, and Hulu is significantly behind. That's a fair point about what other content the Turner networks have to offer. They do have some good shows/movies that make them worthy to have just beyond the sports. We'd, obviously, love to see them add Turner, but you very well may be onto something with the recent AMC move. Something has to give, in all likelihood, for them to add back Turner.
I love you guys. Thanks for this video. I have had FuboTV and Hulu and I like them both. I have Hulu now but would switch back to Fubo if it weren't for the Star Wars and Marvel content on Disney +. I had an issue with Fubo's payment system. My credit card wouldn't allow me to pay into the system from Fubo or I would probably still have Fubo today. I have one concern, my 83 year old mother came to live with me so I now only have to take care of my needs, but I need to make sure that she can watch what she wants. It turns out that she watches Tubi, more than live TV now.
Aw, thanks! Hm, that's interesting re: issues with fuboTV. Was their support helpful at all? That's very cool, just goes to show you that some free services are a solid go-to. 🙂
@Frugal Rules with John and Nicole Schmoll I was trying to change my credit card and their billing system at the time was set up as a wallet. My cc company would not pay to a wallet. This is my second time with Hulu.
@Frugal Rules with John and Nicole Schmoll the services at Fubo weren't adequate. It was online and they didn't fix the issue. If they did I would have Fubo now. But if Fubo stock drops a little more, I may buy the stock.
@@tomscurlock3 I keep trying to give you the customer service number for Fubo, but RU-vid keeps taking it down. I believe you can find it if you search for it in your browser.
Are you meaning if you can watch either away from what the service considers your home network? If so, YT TV allows you to watch away from it, but you need to sign in from your home network at least once every 90 days. Hulu Live, unfortunately, doesn't offer that.
Guess you did this video without knowing that fubo tv just dropped amc channels there in big finachal trouble and could be doomed i hope not the case but we shal see
You're going to have to pay $10.99 for 1 RSN or $13.99 if your area has 2 RSNs. These charges are in ADDITION to the advertised package prices, and you don't have the option to NOT take them. Fubo is now just as expensive as DirecTv Stream, and STILL doesn't have the Turner channels.
@@spaceghost4474 Yep, fairly underhanded if you ask us. It'll still be ~ $10 cheaper than DTV Stream, but when you look at fubo STILL not having Turner networks, and recent channel drops, they're lagging even further behind.
@@FrugalRules VERY underhanded IMO. Here in Florida where I live the prices compare as follows. *All prices include tax and all Fubo prices include the $13.99 RSN additional price which is not optional. DTS Entertainment package w/o RSNs $83.51 Fubo Pro package $99.08 DTS Choice w/RSNs $111.34 Fubo Elite package $110.22 DTS Ultimate w/RSNs $122.48 Fubo Premier package $121.36 This is why I say that Fubo is now just as expensive as DTS. They are just too expensive for me.
@@spaceghost4474 Got ya. Especially if you're moving up to the Elite plan you're absolutely correct. The Pro plan is still slightly cheaper, after the DTV increase AND assuming you're fine with Pro. Our main issue is with the basically hiding the additional cost for the RSNs through fubo. If a person looks at the home page and expects to pay $75/mo, they're going to be sorely mistaken when they get that first bill.
Thanks for the comparisons between Hulu and Fubo TV. Now we’ll have to see if Turner channels can return to Fubo TV in time for March Madness, NHL and NBA regular and post season play 🏀 🏒
