thanks I'm doing a fuel pump change on my 2005 s10 Blazer 2 door 4x4 ,the gas tank is in the back of the vehicle as well good job boys. hello from Alberta

I did it myself with no mechanic skills or knowledge about cars and it was so easy. I was a little nervous but I did it.

Anyone know where I can get the lower straps for this vehicle, to support the fuel tank? I haven’t been able to find them anywhere, only other models and the upper straps.

Instead of splicing why don’t you just make a jumper harness to convert from old style to new style. Spliced are failure points.

My new fuel pump had no instructions the old one had old connection the new one a new connection what order are the wires on the new Connection from Left to Right??

Yea I know this is an old video but, if you're going through all the trouble to replace the fuel pump and filler neck, why not go ahead and put a new rubber hose on the filler neck? What another $20 at most?

what do we use to lubricate the o ring?

Hi, there is no specific lubricant to use. You can choose any lubricant made to work with rubber. Thank you.

Its funny I own. Blazers 96 98 98 99 and none of those fuel tanks are on the rear! All of mine are on the drivers side

Do you have 2 door blazers? This video shows 2 door Blazer procedure. 4 door's have tank in the location you describe.

He did note to INSPECT fuel filter and or replace. If I had just replaced a fuel filter 3 month's prior to replacing a fuel pump, I'm NOT gonna replace the fuel filter with a new one just for the hell of it.
