Numerous times we are asked what fuels we use when dancing, performing, or breathing with fire. This video talks briefly about each fuel and what I use them for and why. The first fuel is Colemans Camp Fuel or white gas which is the most used and most dangerous fuel. I use it on poi, staff, double staves, palm wicks, fans, whips, dragon staff, nunchucks, belts, burnicorns, and pretty much all the things that spin. I don't use white gas on fire swords. It's just too much spray off danger. That is where the Klean Heat Kerosene comes in handy. It burns the same as normal kerosene with much less odor. Lastly is the Ultra Pure Lamp Oil which is used for fire breathing. You can use it on other props if the danger of transfers is not your thing. I've burned myself more times with white gas than any other fuel. A video on fire safety will be included once fire is added into the lessons.
