This is the real story where Corridos Tumbados came from. Read if you’re a real tumbado fan. So Chalino style was an era in the early 90’s so as conjunto primavera, Banda el Recodo, Banda el Limón etc… then Obviously there was those local Sinaloa, Durango, and Michoacan norteño bands that sang raw cartel and drug corridos. Tex-mex music was also big like Intocable, Salgado and other popular Tex-Mex bands as how Grupo Frontera is now. So this style went on for a good time until 2007-2009 Larry Hernandez, Gerardo Ortiz, Régulo Caro, Martin Castillo, Buitres, etc…which were all in the moment of El Movimiento Alterado, brought more of a spice and altered rhythm to norteño. And as this style went Jesus Ojeda changed the style by bringing in more of the guitar sound to the public which Miguel and Miguel and Cuates de Sinaloa had already, but Jesus notched it up a bit, but then Ariel Camacho popped in and OMG did he changed regional Mexicano with his serreño but tragically we lost him in an accident. Then Arsenal Efectivo came in adding more of a funk to serreño with Vida Peligrosa and here my friends is where tumbados starts brewing up with T3R Elemento bit still needed it to be brewed to perfection and Natanael Cano brought in the right ingredient and here my friends Corridos Tumbados was born, which Natanael holds the title as the creator of the corridos tumbados.

🫡 something i've always said is i like how humble he is, good style, but never over doing it with alot of tattoos or painting his hair to draw attention, all these new kats are decent pero i feel like he is more authentic unlike some other sell outs and shows respect to the OGs of corridos

I remember getting haircuts at super fades on Massachusetts and baseline & seeing him singing and playing instruments there, shit feels good having someone represent our city 💪🏽
