sorry to be off topic but does anyone know a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid lost the password. I would love any assistance you can give me!
@Briggs Bodhi Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and Im in the hacking process now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
One of the best Fugazi song in their early period. What I like of this video is that it perfectly captures one fundamental aspect of their approach: the non-existence of the distance between the band and the audience. That's what makes a difference.
This song breaks my heart and patches it back together with its ferocious beauty. I miss Fugazi. Saw them several times in the late 80's to mid-90s. Repeater was one of my favorite albums.
There has never been a band quite like them. If you want to celebrate this great band with fellow fans, send a request to join the Facebook group "Fugazi Appreciation Society".

I regret not seeing Fugazi in concert in the 90s. First time hearing them was on KSJS, San Jose State University radio with Waiting Room. I was never really into lyrics (for any band) but was always moved by the music itself. I liked the fact Fugazi would always have instrumentals on their albums.
@@amandahaborak9331 They were a punk band that promoted positive attitudes and clean living. It's pretty neat that some savvy admin hired them to play for the school. I hope it worked for some of these DC kids.
Instantly made me think of parallel (punk) universe but without punk policemen/dudes who says how to play punk or look punk, parallel punk total freedom of music
Omg..killin it..best punk ever But you can still come around In fact I invite you down Maybe together We can wipe that smile off your face 'Cause what a difference What a difference What a difference A little difference would make We'll draw a blueprint It must be easy It's just a matter Of knowing when to say no or yes Frustrating, frustrating Always waiting for the bigger axe to fall A patient game I can't find my way to play Find my way to play Not knowing Never mind what's been selling It's what you're buying And receiving undefiled

Yellow Hat was on something wild and wasn't prepared for this. Just sitting there feeling the bass come through the loudspeaker. Wonder how he feels about this show all these years later.
I actually was watching Guy play guitar specifically... the songwriting dynamics of Fugazi were incredible, so I soaked in how the components fit together. For the record, I helped set this show up and was pretty exhausted by the time Admiral finished their set (as they were friends of mine from Harrisburg PA). Pre-show I ate some Mario's (vegan) pizza with Guy and Brendan. I lucked out, got to see Fugazi maybe 20 times. Still know them guys decades later. By the way, was totally straightedge at this time.
one of those songs and videos that make me wish I was born earlier and in another country to have witnessed a music scene like that of the 80s and 90s alternative and underground scene in the US!
I am forever grateful I was in HS in 1985 and got to see Fugazi several times. Bands like this are why today’s music just can’t even compare. I even met Ian at a Denny’s after the show and got his autograph…on a one dollar bill. Damn society really did peak in the 80’s.
@@xvbiffbangpow8579 sorry, but there is no comparison, the european/german scene of the time had good stuff, but does not come even close to your bands of the time....
It is a double cut les paul thanks ***** ! I almost bought one not long ago. yerstilltooloud I was not talking about Ian's Guitar i was talking about Guy's guitar.

@@yourwelcome9336Previous song was Long Division. It ends with the line, “Crack and divide”. They just kept saying “crack” as it rolled into “blueprint”.

L'elefante nella stanza è che decine di persone hanno invaso il palco, e solo uno vuole fare il protagonista (e lo lasciano giustamente precipitare al suolo) e sembra normale. Ma vi sembra normale?
This song is great but is that Ian telling someone not to "jump down" (from a balcony/platform?) at 0:48. Pretty damn lame. He wasn't even 30 yet and already in full parenting mode
Can you imagine Ian McKay with a Social Media Presence ? It'd be like Sid Vicious tweeting... Im so sorry you millenials missed the difference...cuz what a lil difference it would make
