10:25 The 7th opening is about Fuji TV about to move to the new building, and it's the final day broadcasting in the old one. 12:43 The first opening of the very first day broadcasting in the new building, starting with a sunrise. 14:40 The second version of 8th opening is same as the digital, but added the text which meant their analog broadcasting will be ceased seconds later (This video is recorded when Japan closed analog broadcasting on 7/24/2011 12:00 AM)
Definitely one of your best videos! I especially love how you added when the corporate logo itself was used, then showed when the opening was used. Another interesting thing was how you added info on the versions of the 2001 opening, like the variant from 2001-03. Fuji Television has some bright idents, and it's pretty cool they're still sort of using the 2001 ident nearly 23 years later!
FANTASTIC LOGO HISTORY! Out of all the television channels from Japan, I think フジテレビ (Fuji Television) is one of the greatest, not only because their anime series such as Dragon Ball and One Piece are fantastic but so are their idents such as: • the first opening ident at 0:23 due to its greatly done traditional animation • 5:21, arguably the most fantastic presentation out of all the idents from フジテレビ • 7:50 since the CGI animation is well done for an ident made in the 1980s • 13:36 due to its brilliant combination of CGI animation and live-action. Plus, I can imagine what Japan would look like in the 2110s even though I wouldn't be alive during that decade Then there's the opening (3:25) and closing (4:23) idents from 1976. Whilst the Tomita's version of "Reverie" (which is the music that's playing in the background on those idents) is one of the most fantastic musical pieces of the 1970s, I don't know why but it somehow gives me a feeling of loneliness...
Kansai Television (JODX-DTV 8ch, one of the members of Fuji's Fuji News Network), has an angular version of the "eight" ident, and has a cool history of idents as well.
