Great advice David. One thing that I have trying to find a solution to is, while working in the dark, I find it hard to know 100% which shooting mode I have my dial set to. It is pretty obvious to see on the display when you're in the video mode. But is more difficult to know that I am set to the S-mode. There is no specific icon in the display that shows which exact shooting mode I am in. This is of course no problem in day light, but during night time, it would be great to tell the shooting mode from the display. Do you have any idea about this issue David?
I'm trying to get my xt3 to use the auto iso. I want auto iso, auto shutter speed and then change my apature to get correct exposed. I keep telling it. Iso 160 to 3200,shutter speed no lower than1/60 &I change apature but it just won't play ball its driving me mad. Any ideas where I'm going wrong. Thanks
I thought with shutter set to 'T', you could only set between 2-30 seconds? (maybe i'm wrong, havn't used Fuji before) Did you have to change another menu setting to allow you to be able to change it to 1/120 while in movie mode / and shutter dial on T??
Hello, when I set this, I am unable to get the full range of iso (160,200,250,320) I only get 400, 1600,6400 I struggle with this. Any idea? It should be related to iso1,iso2,iso3.
Hi that is a new one on me. The only thing I can think of is that you may have dynamic range priority set which may be stopping you. If that’s not the issue try resetting the camera and set it up again.
I’ve been trying to get the same for stills but for the life of me can only get iso auto on the command dials, and not able to scroll through the iso levels for stills using the command dials
Paul J Hi here’s a quick run down on setting up the front command wheel. First go into the menu as shown in the video and set iso auto to command then make sure the aperture on the lens is not set to auto also that the compensation dial is not set to C that will allow the front control dial to just adjust the iso range including the auto iso presets. Hope that helps
Gary Brown Hi it just gives you another option to control the camera and some users coming from say Canon or Nikon may find it easier to use the camera this way. Plus if you are videoing you can make adjustments without moving the camera as much.
