I think one big plus for the xe4 is that you can not only change the length of your lens but also the look you get from different glasses. I have it paired with a Voigt 35mm 1.4 for dreamy portraits. It’s adapted from a M-mount, yes, but still gives me a smaller form factor than the fujinon lenses (manual focus shooter here). And it goes for all vintage glasses too. The x100v can’t beat that.
I love both and I own both. I don’t regret having both, sometimes I feel I want to go out just with the x100v, sometimes I need a wider option and I take the xe4 + 18 or 16 and also bring a 35 or 50 to complement. And sometimes I bring both with me. Lovely couple in my opinion.

On one shoulder, a little angel reminds me that I don't even take that many photos and definitely don't need an X100V. Marc sits on the other shoulder. Great video and inspiring music! (inspiring me to get it some day)

I've only ever shot on film or on my phone; didn't know all this Tik Tok hype was happening. With the price of film going up and up, I decided that this year would be the right time to invest in a solid camera. My search organically led me here. Beautiful video. "Camera RU-vid" definitely has the production value locked down, to nobody's surprise. Fuji has their X Summit next month, so I think I should hold off on both of these for now and see if they're dropping successors to either of these in the near future.

I have the Fujifilm XT5 and I absolutely love the Fujifilm XT5 it is a phenomenal camera, but I'm looking for a second camera to compliment that, and I do think that I'm going to get the ex X100V eventually and I'm in the process of saving for it at the moment. Hello, I bought XE-4 and when I had chance I bought also X100V. Tested both and kept only X100V. Mostly for the reasons you are mentioning in this video. Its hard to describe, but XE-4 was just another camera with interchangeable lens and for that you can buy Sony or Canon and you will be more satisfied. (mostly if you plan to use it with bigger lens you will wish for it to have a different ergonomics and this fact destroys benefit of changing lenses on XE-4)
At least 1 person on Yt who speak clearly about 2 features really important / interesting for me. Leaf shutter and ND integrated. Thanks for mentioning that. And for the « sound » test. It’s really important for me, discretion… Both are really interesting and if i can at the end i would love have the two. As I said at the end of this video, I’m not here to say that one is better than the other, they are just different. The fact that the cheaper body is interchangeable is a really nice feature for a lot of people. For me personally, as someone who is fortunate enough to do this as a job, and has multiple full frame cameras and lenses, the interchangeability of the XE4 is not as important. But I am one single person, and I’m thinking about the benefits for the largest possible audience
Either would work! The wider angle lens of thr x100v might be what you're looking for, but with the xe4, you can attach the lens of your choice! You really can't go wrong with either, it really comes down to what lens you'd prefer to capture landscapes with!
The wide conversion lens is quite high in demand also, and I had to buy mine via a friend from Japan. The conversion lens is heavier and longer than I imagined. And no, it’s not wide enough, its only slightly wider than the iPhone main camera.
Great camera! Uses the same sensor too! A lil bit bigger, but can be outfitted with a smaller lens to keep the size down. You really can’t Go wrong with any fuji!
The Xe4 is a much better camera! The F2 lens on the V has distortion so bad I can’t believe nobody talks about it! Try taking a picture of a straight edge, it’s a nightmare

Considering the price appears XE4 may be better. BTW great video. More perfect if background noise tuned down. No need to gild the lily！ Particularly when you tried to demonstrate the shutter noise. Background noise defeats the purpose!😅
Ha! Ha! Ha! - This guy trashes the XE-4 in all the video but in the end says "overall you can't go wrong with either camera" LOL!! A more honest title for your video should've been BUY THE X100V NOT the XE-4 😂. BTW, I do have a 100V and I love it Cheers!
Don’t understand how you could possibly interpret what I’m saying as “trashing”. Both cameras are great, both have different features. Choose a camera based on what features YOU value.
Cool video and all, but can we get that with a little bit less eye rolling overly dramatic cringe and ego, please? Not trying to be offensive or anything, just feels like a big down turn to me and the videos could greatly benefit from being a bit more "down to earth".
