For #Atari8bit #FujiNet users, NOS 0.6.0 has been released. But, what is NOS? Why would you use it? I attempt to give a few small demonstrations of how to load and use it to transparently access information across multiple network protocols. #retrocomputing

Thanks Thom, great video! Would it be possible (theoretically) to have the data, that is pulled from github right now, be stored in a local clone, and have fujinet access that instead to be able to use these features also "offline", only in the local network?

Awesome ! Are there any plans to add these protocols directly to Fujinet in addition of TNFS?

They all are directly usable via the N: device. That's the point.

Kind of a tangental question, but since this is an awesome bootable development disk... has it been tried, loading a FN image with a a 64 or 80 column display driver? I'm not talking about the XEP80, I thought there were some software based drivers (but compatibility with things was always iffy)

Yes, with XEP80 handler, and I've used it with ACE80XL, so any E: handler will work.

Can I talk to my Intel Mac Pro on a local network ( running MacOS Sonoma ) shared file directory ?? Ultimately I want to load files directly from the file server and bypass slotting that file onto a floppy drive. I want to do this with an Atari 130xe and an Apple //c

We add the N: device to the Atari so you can do that.
