potential sensory overload aside, this looked like a fun shopping outing!! i literally gasped at the blue leg warmers and that cape. everything was soooo cute, i would hop on the shinkansen to tokyo like tomorrow if i could D': maybe in february. thanks for the fun video and shops to check out!

I remember back in the day when fukubukuro content was actually good. I might do skincare ones these days but that's it. I'd rather just but one or two items on sale I know I want lol.

109 is more lax than other stores as long as you don’t film staff or customers, but it’s still not considered to polite to film excessively. However on new years it’s a free for all because the mall is filled with news cameras, but it’s still a good idea to check with the staff if it’s ok to film. A couple of stores didn’t want me to film so I didn’t :)

I didn't get any clothing ones this year. I feel like there was nothing that i wanted and a lot of brands didn't do one this year. I usually at least get the listen flavor one because if nothing else all the tshirts are good for home but this year the main design ones weren't cute. I feel like an itch hasn't been scratched lol.

I love living vicariously through these kind of videos, even though I get a bit jealous at times ahah. Just curious, how come they let you film so easily? I heard Japanese shops were particularly strict about not allowing it? Or at least used to?

New years is a little special because there’s also tv crews there so they’re a little more lax, some stores asked me not to film so I only filmed the ones that were ok filming inside :)

What was the store of the dress in 5:58?? that's my kind of style too and hopefully they could have similar styles when i manage to return to japan huhuh. Additionally, do this store only have one size fits all? I worry that japan sizes are very small too
