This mic set is fantastic. I recently purchased them for £75 British pounds from Amazon. I just used them for audio with a wedding video shoot with one transmitter and the reciever placed on my main camera and the other transmitter clipped to the microphone of the wedding officiator and am well impressed with the unedited audio quality 👌👍
Great video. Thank you. Questions: 1. How long should I charge the device before using it? I don't see any recommendations on the instructions. 2. My unit does not come with a charger brick--only the wires. Is that normal?
This review was amazing, thanks! Quick question for some indoor interviews.. what would you recommend for my (lumix)G85 since I've got no headphone jacks, would you just record from the receiver itself and monitor from it?
This is a good overview, but you have not indicated whether the transmitters have MUTE mode enabled. Can you answer if there is such a mode in these microphones?
@@gearheadchannel I got answer from official web site. It system have this function. You need to do short pushing on power button and your microphone will mute.
Great, helpful video bud. 👍 I love mine & use it with my DJI Osmo Action. Altho 3rd time I had it out on the Scottish Hills and I lost a transmitter 🙈 I emailed Fulaim & they sent me a link to purchase another. Got it, but unsure how to link it to my receiver. Any ideas?
I believe you need to hold down both buttons on the transmitter until it blinks, then hold down both buttons on the receiver until blinks as well. That should put them in pairing mode.
Thanks! I have an X5 and love it. To start with I was a little disappointed as my $20 wired PurplePanda sounded better. But with changes in location and a little EQ the X5 is fine. Handheld in front of my mouth is definitely best; 2nd best is under my t-shirt with the deadcat on. Definitely better than on the outside. The PurplePanda did not sound as good when plugged into the Tx. The manual print was too small to read so I photographed it to blow it up! I'm getting old haha! Warning: the tags holding the deadcat on are v small and can get damaged if you're not careful. I now have to use an alternative deadcat. Also, the Lightning dongle can bend/break if you put the phone with the dongle attached in your pocket. I had to replace it. Inexpensive. Fulaim support v helpful. Blessings
I am trying to find something that I can cnnect to my phone like this Mic but I also want to use a gimbal. My question really is with the Gimabl I have a feeling with attaching the receiver this woulds not work and cause the Gimbal to be unbalanced.Or did you already do a test like this and I have not found the video.
I bought one of these and i am learning how to use it to add audio to my drone footage. Only issue I am having is getting the date and time set on each of the microphones.
I’m not too sure how one would go about doing that, if it’s even possible. I assume you’re recording direct to the transmitter? This is really only meant as a backup feature, and not the primary recording method.
It's a great piece of kit. I have one and it sounds as good as anything when used with an external mic like a shotgun or a cardioid. The onboard mics are a little thin but that's to be expected and a little EQ does get them sounding OK without to much trouble.
It definitely needs an EQing to remove some of the hollowness of the built in mic’s. I’d like to try this system out with a wired lav running into the transmitter , I think that would likely improve things.
@@gearheadchannel I use mine with a Sennheiser ME66 shotgun mic. Mic has a battery in it and is plugged into transmitter and the receiver straight into camera. The audio is great. I mount the mic in a blimp onto a C-Stand and have an un-tethered boom that I can move around as needed. It's o good for a moving subject but is great for micing static talent.
