So many great goals, but simply cannot beat Palhinha Vs Leeds. As the pundits said, would have been prem goal of season if it wasn't in the FA Cup. Dives in to win the ball, then charges upto the ball and smacks it from miles out with his second touch, absolute rocket, bends and swerves inside the post. Epitomises Palhinha with his combination of relentless physical aggression and elite technical ability. Absolute world class, Roberto Carlos would have been proud of that.
Yeah just an incredible finish, completely out of no where. It was against Leeds btw, but so many great goals - hard to keep up :) . Praying everyday we keep this squad together and add on some upgrades.
My favourites are: 1. Willian v Forrest - there were 7 players plus the keeper to beat in the goal mouth. How he managed to beat them all was insane. 2. Willian v Leicester - There is no one better in that area than him. He finds loads of space ane creates a masterpiece by sheer skill alone. 3. Palhinha v Leeds - His reactions to winning the ball and then hitting a screamer with a first touch. Sublime. 4. Reeeeeeeam v Palace - The man has had an oustanding season, probably one of the best of his career. Coupled with his amazing performanaces in the World Cup with Jedi, he came back even better than before he went away. He deserved that goal and you could seethe smile on his face as he celebrated. One of my best moments of the season for me. 5. Cairneys goals, the guy is finding his rhythm again and is going from strength to strength again.
