I remember my first time getting my nails done and I was so stiff and nervous that my hands were shaking really bad lol. They shake anyways because of nerve damage, but it gets worse when I'm nervous. After I got used to what they were doing and them telling me to relax I did as they asked. So it went smoother from there. Now I do my own because I've been to too many chop shops that have cut me (not just with an e-file but a hand file), filed my nails way too thin for adhesion, didn't even push my cuticles back before removing the shine on purpose so that they would lift so you had to go back every two weeks (maybe three if you're like me and your nails grow slow),acrylic on my skin, etc. I got tired of it. So during quarantine I started teaching myself how to do my own. I'm still nowhere as good as you, but I'm getting better. I'm a new subscriber and have a question. Do you remove the dead cuticle first if the client needs it? They came out so nice and you did such a wonderful application!

Can you do a video showing how you hold your wrist/hand when doing acrylic application/using the drill? Or angle the camera down more so we can see how your wrist/hand looks when doing it. My girlfriends wrist is starting to hurt and she wants to make sure she has the right position for her hand/wrist

I’ve caught cramps I’m my hands from my clients having stiff hands so I’ve made a habit of just constantly saying RELAX YOUR HANDS OR ILL JUST SIMPLY SAY RELAX

My hands are more relaxed when I get mine done I kinda hold my hand down not straight out like that

It’s the clients that don’t get the picture that they have to have their hand relaxed. You can tell she wasn’t relaxed which makes it harder for the nail tech.

Listen, most finished nails don’t look half as good as your application!!
