The majority do not know that this album was written by the members only ( soyeon,minnie, yuqi) , so let us raise hats for them in respect of their wonderful talents

if Han is used for a kdrama, I wouldn't even be surprised because of how dramatic and historical it sounds

their albums get darker yet their concepts are completely different.

나 진짜 내 본진아니면 수록곡 안듣는단말이야 근데 타이틀곡 동양풍느낌나는게 너무좋아서 수록곡도 동양풍느낌이면 들으려고 들어왔다가 한 듣고 못빠져나가는중 아니 진짜 나 노래편식심해서 아무노래나 안듣는단말이야 근데 이번앨범은 진짜 명반이다 ,....... 그리고 이 그룹은 멤버들 음색이 독특해서 이렇게 느낌있는 음악하면 진짜 확 사는듯 뭐야 진짜근데 수록곡 다들어봤는데 하나도 불호인게 없음 이런 앨범 처음이야진짜 ...

Han has this grand ball vibe that is held by the royalties and could make you feels that you're dancing with your enemy and lover at the same time, Hwa got this lonely but vengeful vibe on it.

The first song "Han" could be and should be an OST for a Historical Drama, any east asian drama atleast because the vibe fits that theme. And it somehow reminds me of BTOB's Lee Minhyuk(Huta)'s song titled "Falling Blossoms" in a way. Maybe not the composition and message but concept and also variety of genre cuz not every Kpop group can pull off this type of concept let alone envisioning it, and the fact the artists themselves are involved in the writing process is really an indication that they are beyond norms and prejudices. EDIT: Tnx 4 da likes. Now I'm hearing this with Assassin's Creed and it's hella good.

Now I can see why they rerecorded the album 4 times....this album is literally so perfect I’m in TEARS! No other kpop album or group has made me feel this way, and I’ve been an avid fan since 2012. All of their vocal colors and textures are so interesting, and I LOVE how they’re not afraid to play around with them to this extent. They are the pioneers of this generation and NO ONE can change my mind

Best 4th gen group

Full disclosure: I stan Oh My Girl, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate other groups (Izone, Twice, Loona). (G)I-DLE didn't come on my radar until New Years Day, and I had definitely been sleeping! This album shows what happens when you give really talented people full creative control. Several things appeal to me about this group. It seems the excellent group leadership is more concerned with producing a beautifully balanced work of art then they are with selfish self- promotion. As a newcomer watching their performances, Soyeon, Minnie & Yuqi seem very unselfish and considering how extremely difficult song writing & production is, it's amazing the videos are as balanced as they are. Regarding this silly obsessive preoccupation with line distribution, I would say that with ANY group endeavor, some get more & some get less. If someone gets less in this one, odds are they'll get more in the next. As they say in NYC, "Not-for-nuthin, it is what it is." Of course there'll probably always be someone that would criticize Leonardo Da Vinci for not using exactly equal amounts of 6 colors when painting the "Mona Lisa." I'm happy for NEVERLAND, a supportive & appreciative fanbase, that can recognize a beautiful work of art when they see & hear it. (G)I-DLE, I love ya! Everyday, every night , LATATA!

It's really cool how g idle used Chinese characters in the first two song titles which gives it more of an ancient and mystical aura. The Chinese character for han normally describes a cold and frosty weather, and the characters for hwaa means fire flower in Chinese. This album is just so perfectly cultivated ❤️❤️

I literally got historical drama vibes from Lost and Hann alone in the winter. THIS ALBUM IS SO GOOD

To me in this album Miyeon and Minnie stood up, their voices are heavenly

Why this album is so good and unique? These girls do it all themselves and put a lot of effort in their craft. I know cube tries to manufacture them but they still know how to play the game in their favor. G-IDLE is the biggest act Cube has and is all a group of rebels.

I have to say that this WHOLE album is amazing, though I'm honestly so in love with "Lost", the vibes are amazing, the breathy singing feels ethereal and the melody is really catchy.
