So I looked at the english lyrics for each song and here's the story I got from the album: INTO YOU: They become lovers and for a time their union is blissful and beautiful. TRUST ME(sephwoo):They are moving out of their "honeymoon phase" as their hidden sides and flaws they would show to no one begin to reveal. The boy has problems of his own but stubbornly hides them, and tells her not to worry about it cause "he's got it",while the girl starts to feel insecure when her boy isn't always in sync with her or sharing everything with her and is questioning him. PUSH&PULL: The girl, tired of trying to figure out what's wrong, begins to become anxious, showing love to him one moment(pull) and lashing out on him the next(push). The boy expresses his frustration with this two-facedness. The girl tells us that the boy "stabbed her many times" probably meaning that she was offended many times by the boy, maybe cause he interacted with another girl a certain way(although the action gave off no intention of being untrue to his girl),didn't respond to his girl in the way she wanted, or didn't give all his attention to her. Her anger showing signs of being toxic. She never tells the boy why she is angry and the boy still refuses to tell her his personal problems. Its a game in which the loser either admits their grievances and flaws or submits to the other. 지니까(BECAUSE): The boy expresses his frustrations with the girl's actions and the girl tells him to back off still with the expectation that he will "come around" and at some point they will be back to normal, still not acknowledging the toxicness of her actions. She even decides to become even more controlling. Their relationship is deteriorating fast and the arguments are have reached their climax...both of them: *after all its the end, because its evil, its becoming harder to bear, don't bother me.* YOU IN ME: The girl expresses her obsessions with the boy and shows her dominance over the him(she still doesn't realize the extent of it). The boy continues to express frustration and how both of their actions have gone too far and the couple is about to break apart because of it. The girl also shows a little bipolarness in this by going from a forboding *my love, you're mine, my everything, forever.* to a frustrated *i call you, you don't answer, i apologize, i know you're not serious, why do you keep pushing me away.* In the anger and stress, they break up. TRUST ME(bmin): The biggest, most heated argument has ended with their breakup and the boy presumably leaves.After some time he is having flashbacks of her constantly saying "how was today, i missed you, i did a good job too" and expressing her anxieties with him. In this song the boy explains why he kept his problems from the girl and says that though their relationship has been going hell, he is determined to fix it with her. Perhaps he is going to go back to her and try to fix both of their broken selves and mend their relationship. The story's kinda hopeless and sad.
That was a hell of ride. Loved yout explanation of each song, wouldn't have thought of it myself. I've come to notice most of Kard songs tells a story.
mishasphan all Kard songs sound the same and different at the same time, that's why I love them. I mean, all their songs are different, but they all have a similar and very special style.
First of all, KARD is so underrated it's unbelievable all their songs are bops every single one which is rare to have every song on the album at equal quality. Secondly, push and pull is now a new favourite, first thing that came to me listening to it was "this is sooo something Lily aka superwoman would jam to!" 😂
I was wondering why 'You In Me' was only the fifth track when it's the title track of the Album and then I noticed something about how each song is placed in the album. 'YOU & ME' actually describes a relationship from begining to end!! 'INTO YOU' is the start of the "love story" when you get attracted to someone, 'Trust Me' (J.seph and Jiwoo's version) describes the kind of trust you want when you start a relationship with someone, 'Push & Pull' is about being lost in the middle of the relationship when you don't really know what the other person wants, 'Because' portrays how this kind of behaviour is slowly draining the relationship and more precisely the other, 'YOU IN ME' is the moment where the relationship is about to "die" (which is why we see the boys cadaverous in the M/V) but the attraction is still there and both parties don't want to let go of the other one, so 'Trust Me' (BM and Somin's version) shows how one of the person reflected on their behaviour and is trying to save the relationship and make it better by asking for trust in doing so (different than the first one). Amazing KARD!!!
This album: solid proof KARD is NOT just tropical house. Push & Pull could have been the single instead of You In Me. Hola Hola album was full of bops, but this album here is a full-on CONCEPT.
The diversity this album brings... ugh. You’re doing it right, KARD! I hope you’ll get a stronger fanbase in Korea though. Int’l hidden kards are rooting for you always!

Ms. 스가 팝 I've been with them since Don't Recall but same 😢 it's nice to see them to get more and more popular and seeing their journey makes me so proud.
This is actually a really great album and for group that's only debuted not even a yr ago. And they have 5 MV'S with 2 mini albums. Amazing. I'm so glad I knew them since Oh NaNa. They're going to be really big. They already are.

No offense but considering their first album mostly consisted of their singles it's no surprise that this one will be a hiddens' favorite. Personally I prefer their upbeat concepts because it means when they perform they can have more fun with it in comparison to ones like don't recall or you in me
Trust Me is like a genuine and sincere communication in a relationship, that one will always be there for the other. I'm imagining a cheesey image like forehead to forehead. And with eyes closed, you just feel the connection is there. ... Then I remember I'm single. Fvck.
Por You and Me pensé que el álbum iba a ser un poco de lo mismo, pero después me dio por revisar sus canciones a ver qué onda, PERO QUÉ? CÓMO ME HABÍA PERDIDO DE ESTA BELLEZA DE ÁLBUM? SIN DUDA HASTA AHORA DE LOS MEJORES, A MI PARECER MEJOR QUE EL DE HOLA HOLA (Ese mini álbum lo esperé demasiado & más fue la expectativa que tuve) SIN DUDA UNO DE LOS MEJORES DE KARD! TANTO QUE TENGO GANAS DE GASTAR ALGO DE DINERO EN ESTE ÁLBUM, YA QUE REALMENTE VALE LA PENA! 😍
i love it the whole album is so dark i dunno maybe im sayin this cuz of the video of their main song like obsessive vibes but i legit do think this albums songs do sound somewhat dark. i love it edit: okay just heard the fourth song. this is so twisted i love it
All the songs are connected. I can't explain but the album is like about a tragic love story. So the 4th song/"Because" is like the climax of the story. Watch their appearance on After School Club, they explained it. ❤

I don’t get why a lot of people are saying Into You should’ve been the title track. I think You In Me fits better as a comeback and I personally prefer You In Me more, not saying that Into You is a bad song but it’s too slow for a comeback song. I think it fits better for the background song of sad k drama scenes. I think they made the right choice with You In Me because it’s such a good song and the video was really cool with the plot twist & they will entertain the crowd more with this song.
It is a long time, since I`ve reacted to an album like this. I've listned to it 5-6 times today. epic, EPIC! And the story goes through the whole album, just awesome..... btw, this is the first time ever I even done the effort to comment an album, it's that good! All my best to you KARD!
Omg this is exactly what I've been telling myself! The melody and the way the lines are delivered remind me of Evanescence so much (which is a good thing because I love this group!)
Glad I'm not the only one thinking that 'Into You' is a fucking masterpiece! BM's verses in 'Trust Me' got me chills, I'm so impressed with his songwriting skills and Somin's vocals are so ethereal in the track too. Everyone did so well and get their moment to shine. Ugh, what's a favourite song in this album anyway? I'm so proud that they delivered another quality album even tho they just debuted. Definitely one of my favourite albums of the year! And I'm so fucking glad I stan them since 'Oh Nana' 💕
First time hearing a mini album without skipping some part and stay attentive till the end I discovered them through Bomb Bomb a month ago, and this group is really awesome imho
My favorite song is 4. I love it ! it sounds sad and cool and relaxing at the same time. ( and as an otaku I have to say that song could be eassily the soudtrack of some horro psycho anime
No, you not alone. I prefer BM Somin too. Eventhough Jiwoo and J.Seph version also good but BM and Somin version feel somewhat more emotional and deep.

Lol unfortunately, it's become cool to dislike KARD and say all their songs sound the same blah blah. But this album is really good. It deserves more attention.
