I really like my FRA400. Very sharp. The .7x reducer is on my list. Thanks for the vid!

Great gear but likely out of the financial reach of the average person. Jackery $1,000 tripod and tracker $2,500 telescope $3,000 auto focuser $400 ASIAIR $500 ZWO camera $2,000 guider setup $700 polmaster $500 filter $400 all prices based in Canada. Not for the faint of heart, enjoy.

I hadn’t considered using my Air as a power hub. That got my gears turning. The Air isn’t cut out for solar imaging. Using mine as a power hub will save me from a lot of unnecessary conversion. You’ve inspired me. You have many times. Hope you’re well. Clear skies.

I have this Jackery, and the 200 watt as well. If I had been aware of thr BLuetti, I'd prefer it. Better battery technoletc, (lithium iron phosphate) design, erc, for same price. Compare before you buy.

I'm considering the AM5 with tripod and extender like you picture here to hold my Celestron 9.25" Edge HD. Tempting.

Hey, nice to see the manager back on the desert. Shes so cool I bet she can take sharper pictures only using her star adventurer and stock DSLR without even having thumbs 🐕 Best dag ever PS: cool video too, thanks hunters

Looks like a very complete but easily portable setup for out in the desert. Askar are making some great scopes (enjoying using my 65PHQ a lot). Clear skies.

I love you guys. Great content. I’m also putting together a portable system as my current Astro-Physic system is a bit much for me to move. I’m getting the Rainbow Astro RST-135E mount for its encoder-aided tracking. I received a Super Tripod carbon/fiber tripid-pier from Korea. Not the lightest but beefy enough to hold my A-P should I want to use it I ordered one of the new ASI 2600 MC Pro Duo cameras with the built-guide chip to eliminate the need for separate guide camera and scope. I’ll be using a TeleVue NP101is for imaging and visual. I’ll be using a Primaluce Eagle 5 for control and power distribution. Everything between 40/45 lbs compared to over 100 with my current system. Should have everything sometime in June. Good luck with your system. PS thanks again for the project you took on to keep Charles Messier’s grave properly maintained. Was glad I could help with that.

I have the same tube and feel there are better telescopes on the market - is it so? QHY600 camera is gorgeous!

The guidescope is mounted only with one half in the dovetail bracket. Why did you do that? Was there originalle sth else mounted in the other half of the bracket? Or is it to make the handlebar easier to use?

How do you find the back focus using the 3.9 reducer? Do the ZWO spacers get you the 55mm? I haven’t tried my reducer yet.

I really wish ZWO would add some of the QHY cameras to their support. That's the main reason I'm moving to mini-PC instead of an ASIAir. My guide camera is a QHY and isn't supported by ZWO. I like the ASIAir, but it's too restricted. They want to lock you down to only their equipment.

Hi !! sorry for my english.. if you don`t use ASIAIR PRO, how do you do the polar align and how do you find any nebulae ?
@orionm4268
@orionm4268 Год назад
Ive never used asiAir, but I think it would be clear Polar alignment would be done via polestar polar cam mounted in the front. Software would be in use to find targets.
