You're literally my saviour. Navigating google's documentation for anything is too technical for me. they try to explain everything for every possible scenario ever (which is what a documentation should do) but it's just too confusing for my simple use cases. Thank you.

A worth mentioning are annotations, where you can create your own Preview if you have a more specific configuration you're constantly using in your app.

Thanks for your videos, Philipp - this one and others on your channel! I just tried this example - it worked for a plain Android project, but not for a Multiplatform project (simply generated by the wizard), it did not even work in the androidMain directory (despite trying for quite some time with library versions, specifically looking for bom-settings). The preview split screen icon just never showed up. Was anybody successful in using previews in a Multiplatform project? Any hints about which versions were used?

I figured it out by myself (after lengthy research and trying...) - using the JetBrains wizard to set up a new project doesn't work, however the project template in Android Studio generates a working project.

Hi. It's a good video. I have a question for you on this topic. How can I display a BottomSheet or any other modal component in @Preview?

The bottom sheet is a composable and you can setup a preview just for that passing only the necessary data into the bottom sheet. If you need to see it working, you would set up a preview for the screen and use interactive mode.

It would be great to have a possibility to see a soft keyboard in the preview Ps: I tried to increase the compose version to the latest but after that I got a crash from animations - For example than I show the infinity circular progress

It's looks like so easy to You to write a code. I don't understand why I am so struggling with it. Even getting permission to get access to external storage is huge problem. I can't get any simple and useful code example for it...
