Quicksilver is part of Brunswick Corporation, world leader in recreational boats, which means that they know a thing or two about clever boat design and this one 855 Weekender is no exception. It has to be up there as one of best designs I have seen an while. Every part of this boat, has more that one purpose. Like the dinette, that converts to a double berth, or two sets of two forward facing seats. And then there's the cockpit seating that slides back and forth to give you more swim platform space, or inside space. Or access the front or rear of the engine bay. All of this and it can then convert to dining, seating or become a vast sun pad, all with very little effort.
This is one great all rounder, which is proved in this video, as it was a really horrid day, yet once onboard, all that glazing me the inside still feel, light, bright and cosy.
Add in the catagory B hull and the solid and reliable VW 300HP, V6 TDI engine, giving top speed around the 30 knot mark and you have yourselves a great boat
