I dont see why this should not be possible via base stations 3.0 . Valve pls

Base Stations only emit IR light on the X and Y axis at a certain pace. The lights hit the trackers on your body and the trackers transmit that information to your pc with the usb dongle. The base station are useless by themselves so it wouldn’t be possible to track anything. They would need to release new hardware and software that can do both which would be a different kind of Kinect since that’s exactly how it work and as we know the kinect isn’t one of the best tracking solution

I like this, but I am a bit sad that there is no open-source version that can also work with a ordinary web camera. Open source is not only to get it for "free" but for faster development into other products, like that is something that in the future would be built in to programs like VRChat, Second Life, Resonite, Sansar and so on. And thank you for this video, I will test and maybe buy.
