Was one of the most annoying things last year. Hopefully they change animations too with ProPlay. Guys like LeBron and Dominique Wilkins completely changed their jump shots throughout their career
As a person who went from PlayStation plus, to now playing only offline, this is so amazing. I feel like myleague is now one of the best modes 2k has to offer
Shoutout 2k for actually caring about offline players that care about details and expansion, there's nothing better in a sports game than fun but realistic game play and attention to detail
For a player that never ever plays online. I appreciate this . I miss 5he old my career mode before online bs was implement led. I miss being able to completely max out my player. Even if it's not realistic
@@wobb823I just play myleague like it’s mycareer. You can position lock, and it’s honestly better cause you can change the rotation, make trades, free agency, and draft your players.
@@lozzbayer2124 nah they can make the calendar/timeline customizable so you can download from the 2K Community Creations. A creator can customize the league and add the year and schedule for that specific season.
A game that whole purpose is to SIMULATE THE SPORT OF BASKETBALL adding real life changes TO A GAME THAT SIMULATE BASKETBALL. That's just embarrassing man. How can they call that "New features!"
I'm looking forward to the Lebron Era and extending the Heat's run. I played with the Jordan Era / Magic most of the time in 23. I don't even think I can go back to playing the current era, there's just to much fun with the oldschool teams. The Jordan era is so nostalgic, seeing all the familiar players from Shawn Kemp to Penny Hardaway, Kevin Johnson, and all the random players I forgot about. Even Jordan , though he was always missing from the games back then.
Me too I have played the Kobe era almost 100% of the time, maybe a few classic teams & streetball exibitions and practice mode here and then but these eras were the best thing takes me back playing NBA shootout 2003 lol
so they didn’t upgrade the game mode at all just updated it to how it should’ve been. What about a more engaging attributes and aspects in the game mode. CUTSCENES! Press conferences when trades or signings happen. Rumours and cutscenes to NBA drama that affect the play of the game. Chemistry potential for duo or trios on the court and cutscenes for that. Parades, post- champion press conference, Along with tv personalities debating the best players/teams going in to the post-season, end of season and start of season. Training montages and in season highlights that hype up each seasons playoff run. References to legacy, such as when a team is going for a threat peat it would be awesome to reference that. When a player wins an award such as an mvp it would be cool for there to be a cutscene of them accepting it at an award show or being told about it around their teammates like Joel this year, plus highlights that is presented on a tv show, like, this years mvp is blah blah and we’re gonna look at some clips as to why he’s the mvp. Also, draft day should be more interactive like it should be visible like the stage with the prospects in the back sitting at the tables and have the ability to pick them through that interface and then you can see them go up on stage shake silvers hand and put the hat on do their interview and so on. This is next gen the possibilities are so much greater but it feels like there’s not much difference between when it was purely ps4/xbox one game. 2K should focus on completely revamping and improving the game like they did with 2k14.
Bro the game is already 180 gigabytes. You want to download a 300 gigabyte game? We don’t really need all of that to have a good franchise mode it’s already good as it is honestly
Think it would be terrible for football fans, we see how 2K does their consumers when they have a monopoly on the basketball games. They just recently catered to us MyNBA players.

Can they actually have the staff make some kind of difference, player extensions functional, and minute restrictions actually work. They add new stuff constantly and they literally don't do anything. That would be great.

Why do we need specific eras? If you already have draft classes created for the last 40 years, why not let the player choose which year to start their franchise?
Hopefully this means they have all the jersey changes though the late 2000s and 2010s now too. Nuggets had the same uniforms from like the 90s up untill modern day era
i’m hoping every player has an image for the roster, especially updated for the new trades. it adds to the authenticity for me and helps me immerse. i love the new changes tho ! can’t wait for the lebron era

I was hoping they’d add the ability to start in 1960 and 1970. Replaying those decades would be so much fun. Maybe next year. Hoped at least the 80s started in 1979-80 season.

Eras is the only reason I came back to 2K Basketball. I really hope they continue to give it more attention than those gimmick and side hustle modes. Reliving NBA history is much more relevant to the NBA than building a character to send them to a playground to collect coins. If I wanted to play the Sims I would just ask my sister to let me borrow her computer.
Spent hundreds of hours in this mode for 2k23. Really hope they allow more from a progression standpoint. If you use a certain player more a certain way, it helps them develop those attributes/tendencies. Would be so cool to literally change the way a player plays
I’m very glad you guys expanded on myNba eras. It’s the best mode ever. While I wish I could start at any year with accurate roster. I am still so happy this was not a 1 year mode and I can’t wait to play it again in 2k24
Finnally going in depth and spending hours on mynba eras nba2k23 it was honestly one of the best gamemodes that they came up with i was very impreesed with it starting from the magic bird era going all the way to modern with the rules changes and everything bravo 2K 👍🏼
One of the best features in madden fantasy mode is the progression and how your performance ingame directly impacts your players progression.. in 2k its mostly felt predetermined regardless of performance.. is that still the same now?
How about adding buy outs? What about fixing the absolutely broken expansion draft protection logic? What about the fact that historic draft classes are filled with tons of computer generated players? How about signing more role players to fill out the historic rosters? How about fixing 76 overall players not settling for less than 25mil/year, then retiring because no one will give them that? How about making cpu team building and trades more realistic? Celebrating rule changes is just pathetic. Even madden's new franchise features for 24 are better than this!
Still no sign and trades, buyouts, upgraded trade logic, dynamic tendencies, contract expectations, player progression, improvements to random generated draft classes. Stuff that MyNBA players have been asking to have for years. Eras are cool, but let’s focus a little More on the details, because that’s what MyNBA players really want.
Great thing about 2k, is you can despise what the NBA has become... like myself... yet find incredible joy in these games spending all your time playing previous eras.
They don't put any effort tho. All this stuff been in the game already, from the customization to the historic rosters. Y'all clearly don't know how good this mode used to be back when it was call "association mode". It's sad.
@@byrongotgame I dont agree with you they put effort into this mode adding all those draft classes where you can finally use players that are not on any histroic teams such as oj mayo, brandon jenninings danny granger etc and the league transforming as you play with the historic rule changes, team jesersys and logo being rebranded throughout the years, and the historic graphic effect was a big W for me and i played association mode aswell name me 3 things association mode had that this mode dosen't?????

Shootaround In-depth G-League mode G-league playoffs In-depth NBA players/prospects scouting. Draft took place in the draft room. White House visit if you won the championship. There's def more, that's just a few I can remember off the top of my head
I play myleague every year and these changes aren't really doing much for me. I do like the mode and there's only so much you can do so I get it. We need player motivations to mean something. Contracts to work well: not leaving high overall players in the free agency, better AI team building, I love the staff but do they really matter?, some kind of meaningful coach customization, OLYMPICS!!!!!! Even if we can't play the olympics it would be cool to see it somewhere in the offseason every 4 years would be awesome!
One thing that made MYNBA Eras (still a very fun mode) too easy is that dudes, even great players, basically never ask for max contracts, even if they're multi-time all-stars or MVP types. So it's way too easy to have a completely stacked roster and put together 70-win seasons. (and the computer mismanages the cap to a hilarious extent, so they struggle to put together good teams for more than a year or two)
Why do 2K keep giving Miami Heat LeBron the current day Lakers LeBron face scan??? He didn’t have that beard back then bro… tired of seeing this. As we can see this still hasn’t changed. Nore have they fixed the way he wore his headband.
None of this matters unless you guys finally make CPU vs CPU games actually realistic and watchable. Need some better gameplay for my guys Clique, Kenny, Med, etc

have you fixed free agency yet and every player asking for max money despite age and talent? how about that bug thats been in the game since early ps4 when you resign a player to a contract and after moratorium it turns into a 1 year deal?
Best mode in the game, I don’t have to waste money on a 84 overall player. I think having a draft class system like madden would benefit the game in this aspect in madden players are not positioned on best available in a draft class it allows for steals with later draft selections I would like the ability to toggle this setting bc I can see the reason for having best available but it kinda takes the fun away of going back in NBA history when Jokic and Giannis are the best players in the class and go first overall when neither were the top prospects or were in conversation for rookie of the year. This would allow for Community created draft accurate draft classes
For the Jordan era some courts don't change -Sonics, Hawks, Pistons, Suns and Rockets are using courts from the 80's/early 90's instead of the courts from the mid to late 90's😐
please add the ABA vs NBA era, with the teams from both leagues playing against each other and the 1976 merger, and perhaps the option of seeing an extra final series between the ABA and NBA champions, or seeing players who instead of choosing the NBA had opted for the ABA and vice versa, like Pete Maravich or George Gervin. Personal opinion, the challenges we haven't seen between these teams and the choices of many players could have changed the history of both leagues, and even if the '76 expansion draft had gone differently it would have changed a lot, at least until Bird and Magic arrival in '79.
I stand by MY NBA being the best thing about the game overall...so much freedom and simulation without feeling pressured to buy a bunch of VC.just buy the game and jump in the sandbox 🤷🏽♂️

28yo Dwayne Wade as a 93 overall is crazy disrespect 😂 He was first team all NBA and a consensus top 3 player in the world when Lebron decided to join him in Miami. Even 2K11 had them both tied at 97ovr even back then.
Man 2k! I sure hope you add a coaching game mode, it would be a very fun mode for tacticians, purist, and sim heads. Playing as a coach drawing game plans, creating and customizing plays and see the gameplan in action with different teams. Like a MyCareer but for coaches, where there is team chemistry, and coach to player relationship.
I second that, the one thing that bums me out is that 2K didn't go back even earlier than 83, Magic Vs Bird was from the late 70s to start. I would want to play through the ENTIRE 80s decade.
